The sign that advertises out front should be a clue. Esplendido Pizza and Spirits. An Italian ceramic chef standing 10" tall greeted us upon entering. We asked the server what is good here and the pizza was mentioned. Hmm, thought we were in a Mexican Place? The chips were good but the salsa was odd. We giggled when we heard the other table ask if the salsa was a pizza sauce, because that is what it tasted like. The meal lacked Mexican flavor, as did the decor of Cherry Red Tomato painted walls with vintage posters of Utica and vintage Americana furnishings. We did find a lonely sumbrerro on one wall. We might go back to try the pizza, just not the Mexican. Ever.

I got a dr. Pepper to drink. It was fair at best. I mean it was stale and rubbery. I got the taco dinner, it was soupy like my drink should have been. Was it opposite day? I mean the day after Cinco de Mayo and they really let themselves go. Waitress was illprepared. She brought only one refill for two people so they made us "run with the bulls" to see who actually got the refill. All in all, a truly amazing mexican experience. Brings up memories of my cartel days.

The food was nasty and the service was less than fair. I ordered the burrito supreme dinner. The rice and beans looked like something you might get in prison,and with no authentic Mexican flavors. Blah. We choose this place because Our Ponchos in new Baltimore burnt down and we fould an advertisement saying that they moved and joined this.place. OMG....how sad,what a disappointment.:-

Best place to buy puffy shell tacos in the tri-state area! The service is fast and friendly. If your looking for a neighborhood bar with that Cheers feeling, "where everyone knows your name" this is the place to go. With Carl in the kitchen and Gina at the bar, your never going to want to go anywhere else. Their pizza is also to die for and they have a pretty large delivery radius.

Food was good! The pregnant bartender was the only person working last night. Everyone else not doing much. There was some ruckus because a pre ordered take out was made to wait about 25 minutes after they arrived to pick it up. It wasnt busy at all last night except for the bar area which was tended to very well.

The worst mexican food (if you call it food) Ive ever had the displeasure of tasting in a long time. Taco meat was literally dog food. Why? How is this place allowed to serve food to human beings? Do yourselves a big favor and never dine at this establishment. Its the worst.

Called and ordered 4 tacos and a pizza. We arrived at the time they gave us and our food was not ready. 5 minutes later our food came out. $25??!! On the way home I opened the pizza to have a look... It was ice cold. Same with the tacos. This place is a rip off. GARBAGE FOOD.

Literally had the worst mexican food, the meat was so over done that the only taste it held was the seardness from the grill. Beans had zero taste, along with the chimichanga. I hope we dont get food poisoning.

I saw them delivering to our hotel and decided to call them for Pizza delivered... was very prompt and hot and DELICIOUS!!!! Excellent price as well... I know where Im ordering pizza next time i stay here!

If you miss Ponchos in New Baltimore, then this is the place for you! The nachos and puffy tacos are exactly what I was looking for, and the wait staff were very friendly. I will definitely be back.

Ive been going here since it was Jimmys pizza. This place still has the best pizza ive ever had. The sauce on top is an awesome chance to noemal pizza. Mmmm so good. Also has good mexican food.

Ive done carry out with them twice (figuring the first time was just a fluke). Ive had more taste out of a microwaved frozen burrito from the grocery store. Find somewhere else to eat.

HORRIBLE service and even WORSE food! The tacos were stale and the meat was rubbery, if youre really hungry go dumpster diving somewhere, Im sure you can find tastier food that way.

Salsa was pizza sauce. Food was too hot to eat at first and flavorless. No sauce with meal. Waitress was not helpful. Just a few people dining on Saturday night at 7pm.
