Omg so me and my wife are having lunch at the fortune Chinese food restaurant in Romulus near the airport. I recently told her I dont like Chinese anymore because of research on their chicken and beef but she really wanted it so we went. Weve been going there for a few years and have chosen that one over other nearby Chinese restaurants for various reasons. So I order crab ragoon and spring roll and she has beef fried rice and a spring roll. So my wife goes to scoop some of the rice up and a spider runs out of her plate across the table and runs under the table. Now the are saying they cant find it and we just didnt want to pay basically all while my wife is puking her brains out in their bathroom. Due to their unpleasant actions about the situation I have to urge everyone not to take your business there. We were loyal customers and me and my wife work at Ford and make close to $50 an hour together so a $15 bill is not an issue. Please do not eat there!!

When the 8 year old girl who was running the front desk finally looked up, she just stared at me. After a time, I asked for sesame chicken with steamed rice. She asked if it was for pick up so quickly and quietly it took me a few seconds to realize what she said, then she rolled her eyes at me when I told her yes. She asked if I wanted the combo, no thanks... another eye roll. I can honestly say that is the first time I have gotten attitude from a child. Then she went in the back and all I heard for the next 5 minutes was a man and woman screaming at each other. The food was worse. The sesame chicken was texas style, or buffet style Junk. That is; a small bit of chicken in a mound of batter, deep fried and covered with orange colored corn syrup. Disgusting and not worth the $12 or even lunch prices. I would bet the low mien is made of fettuccine, just like they do in texas too. Yuck

Awful!!! We ordered Lemon chicken w/ won ton soup, Sweet and sour Chicken w/won ton soup and Szechuan Beef med. spicy w/hot and sour soup. 1: The rice tested rancid. won ton soup had so much salt you could cure a side of beef with it. Egg roll were ok, not sure what kind of meat was in it... it was more like a meat roll then an egg roll. 2: Szechuan Beef, the only thing right was the amount of spice. Hot and sour soup not editable. We also received what we were told were crab Rangoon for ordering over $20... I understand why they give it away now.... are they trying to teach a toddler to make them? where was the filling? $30 wasted....... Id rather eat at china buffet......

I ordered The Sesame Chicken combo on my lunch. The rice tasted like it had gone sour/bad. Tasted gross! Then the Sesame Chicken tasted like it was smoked or almost to the point of burned. The egg roll look as something you can buy at a store very small compared to other places but it actually tasted ok little over fried but ok but when I got to the Wanton soup!!! The soup itself was normal but when I bit into the noodle it was the most disgusting thing I have ever put in my mouth! I spat it out!!! Will never spend another dime in that place!!!! Horrible!!!

Ive been going here regularly and have always left very satisfied. They are a small family owned business, and Ive noticed the daughters come in occasionally to help out. Their food is really good and at a very affordable price. My favorite dishes are the gen tsos and chicken with broccoli. Their fried rice is really good too. The service is generally quick, but sometimes its a little slower because of how busy they get, so its understandable. All in all, I can easily say this is my favorite go-to restaurant for quick and delicious chinese food.

Was staying next door at one of the hotels. Needed to get out so decided to dine in. Restaurant was not fancy, but clean and quiet. Was the only one dining in, while others came and went for take out. Service was prompt. Food was hot and portions generous. Was spiced to my request. Excellent flavor in an environment that you come to expect from a Mom and Pop. I travel for work and eat out a lot and consider myself picky, and this place did the trick just fine. Id absolutely come back next time Im in town.

I made my order online to avoid confusion. I ordered the Mongolian beef combo and in the "Special Instructions" section I noted "please no celery or carrots and may I have steamed white rice" I picked up my order from a very grumpy old lady and proceeded back to my office, only to find, Pepper steak with carrots, celery and fried rice. If you cannot get an order correct when it is written down for you, you dont get my business again. Try another restaurant, suggest you stay away from this one!

Yuck!! overpriced for the quality...wonton soup was like pure salt water & egg drop tasted like mop water!! Main dishes not good either...one too salty & other way too sweet (mongolian beef & general chicken). The only good thing was the spring roll. I agree with previous poster...the place looked a bit dirty...should have taken the appearance as a clue to turn around & leave. We wasted nearly $18 !!!

This place is awesome. I ordered online and I got a free gift because of my 20$+ order. The wait was a little long when I picked up my order put that was fine because the place smelled amazing inside and our food tasted awesome. Sweet and sour chicken. General Sao chicken. Pepper steak. The cashew chicken was weird and the chicken was died but none the less it was great. Would definitely go there again.

Amazing food! I come to the airport all the time(taxi driver) this is some of the best chinese food in Detroit! Try the crispy beef with broccoli or the house crispy fish mmm yum! Food is amazingly fast and consistent. Hot n sour soup is delish as well! Dont know where the negative reviews are coming from...also the small kid that is in the corner occasionally is cute and quiet so who cares...

Try everything twice. I did. I will not go back a third time. The meats are poor-quality even for this type of restaurant. Crab rangoon was the highlight of an otherwise terrible meal. Kind of dirty inside and I understand if you have kids, but the 4 year old sleeping in the corner crib is not something that helps my appetite.
