I love the food here. Absolutely LOVE it. BUT, I suggest getting carryout. We live in Oxford and we go here at least twice a month. The service is absolutely horrible every time. Im not sure if we get stuck with the new servers EVERY TIME or what. I typically tip 20 - 25% on my food bills because I appreciate servers, I was one for 5 years. I understand the stresses of the job. This is beyond that. They are forgetful to say the least, and this is when they arent even busy. This last time I felt horrible but only tipped 10%. She didnt deserve that. It upsets me to say this, but I wish we didnt go there this past Tuesday on my birthday. My husband was in a bad mood because he had one refill and it was taking forever for the food to come. His drink was empty for 25 minutes. I hope they pull it together, I will give them one more chance, next I will have to start driving some distance to get decent Italian food in Troy. I dont want to do that.

Ohhhhh my tummy. Its so happy. John was prompt with refills and order taking and attentive. We had the Chicken tetrazzini and chicken florentine. Husband and I shared... Oh my. Chicken Tetrazzini had better flavored chicken but the Florentine was very flavorful too. Both were yumm-ay! Happy we went here. My son also raved about his spaghetti and huge meatball(huge plate). My other son Mac and cheese.....holy Toledo was a home runner. I recommend. The environment is to sit down and enjoy your company. Large portions. Cannoli was also yummy. The filling was delicious!

Merlot and Sausage Diavalo Pizza Or Merretti Beer and Ribs & Lasagna My wife loves the Margarita Pizza & Peisporter Wine...when shes not pregnant. By the way...our 3 kids...soon to be 4 ....choose Italia Gardens over any restaurant, they love the Lasagna and making their own pizza, endless salad and bread at no charge. Plus they have cool wax sticks, the kids love to be creative with while the food is being made. Everything you could ever ask for in a reasturant. Thanks for visiting our table tonight Monica. The place was quite busy, so your mileage may very on a slower day. We drove about 30 minutes to try something new, and wont make the drive again. The food was good though a bit on the cold side (not enough to ruin the meal just enough for the cheese to firm up) as the waitress failed to time the kids pizza orders with the main food selections. Prices were reasonable, but the drinks ran dry. Seems once the waitress realize she was falling behind we were wrote off as a lost cause, and she moved to focus on new prospects.

Save your money. Youd do better to eat at Burger King. What a horrendous disappointment. We should have gotten up and left. The food was boring, tiny portioned, overpriced, and the service, well, youll wish you could have helped yourself since its pretty non-existent. Absolutely terrible! Youll be sorry you wasted your dollars here. UPDATE: My boyfriend and I either caught a stomach virus through the air, or we had food poisoning. We ate the exact same things. Coincidence? I think not.

We love Italia Gardens!! If you are looking for good pasta dishes at an affordable price, this is the spot! My husband and I dine here at least 2 times a month and every time we are there we talk about how much we love the food/staff. We have always had great service there as well. Ive ordered meals from them for parties that Ive had at my home and my guests comment on how great the food is! I cannot say enough good things about Italia Gardens! The food is delicious!!!!!!

the food was wonderful and the special worked out well. Everyone was hungry but I chose to order the special of the day which happened to be the original spaghetti for the original price of 35 cents, all I had to do was order a drink and someone had to order a real meal with a beverage. There was enough of the spaghetti that I had lunch on it the next day and we had salad with the whole meal and homemade bread... good, mmmm

This one has attractive, Simple decorations, elegant tables, very good food, large portions, and very friendly and helpful wait staff. We have been there three times, and have been very happy every time. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for good, home style Italian. No pretension, just good food in a warm friendly environment.

Good food, good value and Im happy. Service is great. I had the make your own combo which is a tasty good value. My guest had the steak which is very good. Salads are adequate with good dressings to choose from. The bread could use a tweek to be a more tasteful and better texture but youre there for the great pasta and other foods. Recommend.

Always great food! Agree with the other reviews that the sauce is very good. The pizza has always been my favorite and I never thought I would say this but now its Mac-N-Cheese. Who knew a basic side dish could be a main meal of Cheesy Deliciousness!! Thank you to our waitress for suggesting something new for me.

Good Italian style food with many items going into the wood fired oven. Good prices, good portions, great taste. Bread and salad could be upgraded a little but no complaints. This visit had some server issues so management stepped in to make sure everything was good. Usually great service. Recommended.

The food was amazing as it always is. However our server was sooooo slow with our pop. We had to ask 4 times for a lemon slice. We waited 15 minutes for a refill on our drinks. It was not busy. She had1 other table. Yes we will be back. We love the food & weve never had poor service here before.

The food and service are always great. Today, however, our young server took forever to take care of us. I asked 4 times for a lemon for my first pop, which I never received. I asked for a refill and finally got it 14 minutes later. We leave good tips, but not today.

Went here for a first date, the mood set for a first date but the kids being their running around not at the restaurants fault was annoying, im assuming it is a family place. Overall the food was very well made, great service, and overall a nice date.
