A Fantastic Place in New Hudson. The Sushi I had tonight was amazing....I had the Salmon on the Beach (dont let the name fool you the food seems to be very authentic, I think they just named it this way to appeal to New Hudsons simpler sensibilities). This Salmon on the beach was amazing and I have never had Sushi so good before and would recommend that people from Brighton drive to New Hudson as this is a great restaurant. The decor is great inside, they have done a fantastic job renovating this space and it has a simple elegance that makes you feel welcome and free to come as you are, whether still dressed up in your work clothes or in more casual clothes. The staff is very helpful, kind and the service is excellent here without being too intrusive. They posess the energy that a new talented start up restaurant possesses and the quality and attention to detail shows and I encourage you to visit as this is a GREAT place.

If I could give lower stars to this place I would. Worst dining experience I have ever had. I went here with a group on a Friday night. After waiting a half hour to be seated we waited 15 min. for anyone to get to our table. We ordered over $100 worth of sushi, then proceeded to have to wait another 25 min. for drinks to come to our table. No apologies or anything from the waitress. We had children with us, and had to get takeout from the Coney Island next door because it was taking so long. We never received our drinks, salads, soups or anything while tables next to us continued to be served. We were told they were out of cups and needed to wash them, but then they proceeded to fill drink orders at other tables (with new cups). Once we realized we were not going to be eating anytime soon we got up and left. On our way out, no apologies were offered by any of the staff. I will never go back here, and would not recommend it.

I HIGHLY Recommend this place! I had lunch here and everything was fantastic. The service was prompt and courteous. I have never had a tastier ginger dressing on a salad. I asked if they bottled and sold their dressing (unfortunately, the dont!) The sushi menu is pretty extensive, featuring traditional rolls as well as many fun concoctions. I LOVE spice, and they had many spicy options. The show stopper, however, was the sashimi! I had mackerel, scallop, and white tuna. The portions were large and they were incredibly fresh and flavorful. I will be going back frequently!!

This place was very unassuming looking from the outside, but once inside we were greeted by three Sushi chefs working their magic. The choices on the menu were awesome. Lots of categories, vegetarian, cooked, chef specials etc.. not to mention the sushi dinner choices as well as other dishes. Service was great! The Umami roll and Golden dragon roll came with miso soup. The soup was delicious, the rolls were amazing. Filling delicious meals for two adults. I would definitely return. Sorry no pics of the food we couldnt wait to dig in once we were served.

Recommended by a friend. He compared it to being as good as a place in Brighton which he says is the best he has had. Very nice people...awesome food. Will definately be telling my friends and family and will return when I want to eat sushi. Prices very reasonable. Dining is very nice and not what you would expect in a strip mall type place. You wont be sorry. GO!

Great service! My husband and I come here all the time and their sushi never disappoints. We love this place! Things we recommend are: Blazing jalapeno roll, Jessica albacore roll, No name roll, Spicy California Roll, Umami ramen noodle bowl, and their red bean mochi (sounds weird to have red bean in ice but its super good).

Friendly staff, always get a greeting when you enter or leave. GREAT sushi, my favorite is their special roll called La Fiesta (not a Mexican recipe whatsoever, not sure why they chose that name). Lots of business men and women go here for lunch or dinner, its very clean and quiet.

The waitress was friendly, helpful and provided great service. The food had perfect flavor and we found the diet rolls a great accompanying portion to the fried rolls we tried. The lighting is relaxing and the space very clean. We cant wait to return!

It was awesome! Reasonable price too. They have hotstone bowl bibimbab, rice cooked on stonebowl with steamed veggies on the top. VERY NICE?!?!? Rolls were very good too. I would recommend Fireball, Blazing Jalapeño, and Golden Dragon.

Really Tasty sushi from a place you wouldnt expect. Cheaper then most of the other sushi places around and it tastes just as good if not better! definitely worth a try, you will be pleasantly surprised how good it is.

Sushi was pretty dang good. We enjoyed it. Posting some menus because we didnt see them on Google Maps. We had takeout. Packaged well and prepped on time. Like all sushi, the price can certainly add up.

Ordered take-out from Umami and it was outstanding. Nice big pieces of fish on the sushi and very flavorful rolls. Miso soup was even better than most places. I will definitely be visiting again.
