Small coffee shop and cafe with a moderate sized menu of creative, high quality salads, sandwiches, and breakfast options. Inside is two 4-top tables inside, two small bars with stools, two easy chairs, and three rolling padded stools. Outside are six to eight tables, so in nice weather they can handle a fair crowd. Decorated inside with mixture of art photography, game boards, and silver pencil sketches. Music on low. At 330 pm on a Friday afternoon I was the only customer dining there, though there was a little takeaway traffic. Three power outlets inside. Free wi-fi with password posted inside. Modest selection of good quality desserts. Tea is Harney & Sons bags. Chai is Oregon Tea Dystopia. My sandwich (Turkey King Cole) was good, but turkey was unevenly heated.

Get there early for fruits, smoothies and muffins/pastries. I walked there around 8:15 A.M. and most things that I was interested in were already sold out. Picked up an iced coffee for my wife and she wasnt overly impressed, but there arent a lot of close options. We came back again (a few years later for vacation) and again the pastry selection was sold out, but it was around 3pm. We ordered a Glacier Coffee (think Frappuccino) and it was much better, I am bumping it up to a 4 star for now as service is fast and quality of ingredients is high.

Stopped in to buy some beans and to see if they can handle their espresso machine... A simple caffè latte was carelessly made and turned out poorly :/ Barista hardly paid attention to what she was doing (double shot gushed out of the filter in under 15 seconds?? Sad.) Pastries/baked goods under the glass looked unappealing, sugary, unplentiful, and had little variety. Was hoping for something a bit higher quality than this. To be honest, this café wouldnt survive in any neighborhood that cares about coffee. Wont go back.

I thought that I was going to have an amazing capp with it being the only local coffeeshop in Douglass but this had to be the WORST cappuccino I have ever had - even worse than Starbucks. Not only was the barista horrible at preparing the foam, but the espresso was also disgusting. Will never go again

The lack of competition for a good coffee shop in this town has seriously skewed reality. Step it up girls!!! Step it up. I decided driving to Saugatuck and waiting in line at Uncommon would get me a morning coffee faster.

The best coffee I have had on the West side of the state. Whats even better are the employees and manager there. They are all wonderful people and I am thrilled to be able to venture here for a cup of coffee and food.

The munchables were yum, and the service friendly. I went on weekend night (I think it was a Saturday) and enjoyed listening to the live music.
