We have been eating at Riverview since they first opened, and we eat here almost every weekend, driving nearly 20 mi just to get there. Albana and Jimmy, the owners, are amazing people and truly make you feel like part of the family. The staff is excellent and friendly, and the food is delicious, putting a unique spin on standard breakfast fare. They are absolutely the top tier in breakfast cafes, but also have fantastic lunch selections as well. My wife, children, and I are all vegetarians, and they have plenty of delicious meat-free options that are all prepared to perfection. Their hash browns are some of the best Ive ever had, but I typically get Jimmys Famous Greek Salad; its always fresh, and more than enough to satisfy even the most ravenous appetite. All salads are also available with a couple of different meats, for those who desire more protein with their roughage. Any time we have friends or family visit from out of town, we always take them here, which is saying a lot since Ann Arbor is full of fantastic restaurants, all which are much nearer to us. Their prices are super-affordable, making this an even better place to bring friends and family. BONUS: Theyre next to the river walk, which provides a great after-meal activity!

Been here a couple times, fantastic in every sense of the word. You can really taste the difference between their ingredients and others. Its nice to see where this place has come from, especially considering what it used to be. The lady in charge has been in every time I have and contributes greatly to what an amazing little place this is.

Great food and service are what we always receive when we visit the Riverview café. Jimmy is truly a master chef and it shows in the quality of his food. Albana always gives a warm welcome and seems to appreciate each and every one of her customers. I highly recommend checking this place out if you havent already!!

We were here an hour before we got our food. The waitress was a bit of a butt when we asked a question about the portions. The ham and cheese sandwich for one does not take an hour to make, then when it came out the cheese was not melted "GROSS". Unhappy customers, will NOT be coming back!!

Nice little quiet diner right in downtown dexter. The food was excellent and the wait staff were extremely nice. Had no problem modifying orders to make the experience excellent. Great options there and awesome Food! Also you get free rice pudding after the meal on the house!

One of the best places in Michigan to eat breakfast and lunch. Good portions, well price and the food, just perfect, the cook does not saturate the food with oil, he or she uses just the right amount and the service is fantastic. 5 solid stars well deserved
