Clean, courteous, healthy and delicious. The type of food is Tunisian and the cooking is home-style so it is less heavy and salty than most other restaurants. If you feel like you want more fat, they have a great selection of ice cream (gelato) including some exotic flavors like lavender. Service is deli style. You order from a case at the counter and they bring your food to the table if you choose to eat there. The atmosphere is also that of a delicatessen or cafe. The surroundings are modest but clean and quiet. It is very hard to find clean, quiet, reasonably priced restaurants with carefully and lovingly prepared food such as this. I think its a real gem, and a rare one too!

Havent been inside but my mom usually picks up food there. Its my current favorite restaurant in Washtenaw County! The prices are fantastic, the food is great, and the owner is quite nice. I sincerely wish the very best for this top notch quality restaurant. Its out of the way of the more expensive Ann Arbor fair but dont let its location fool. Its much better than most Ann Arbor restaurants. A solid 4.9 stars.

Excellent family run Mediterranean/Tunisean food, with a warm atmosphere and friendly service. Nice seating area, including covered outdoor tables. Also includes a small market, and a great selection of sorbet and gelato. Moderate prices, which are mostly charged by weight. Great for families and small groups.

The food was delicious, the staff were friendly & helpful. I was a little uncertain when I first drove up, but it was a remarkably delightful Cafe tucked in the back of a non-descript strip mall! Dont let the location throw you off. It was a very open & bright cafe with a variety of tasty food choices!

My family and I had the 6 course meal for Chinese New Year! The food was amazing and the service is wonderful. It includes complimentary valet parking. The dress code required guys to were a suit jacket. My cousins forgot to bring theirs. We panicked, but fortunately they offer their own ones.

This place is amazing! The employees are exceptionally kind and the food is very tasty and fresh. I am in love with the beef stew, meatballs, and mujaddara here! You can come here to take out, relax and eat here, or even study with their Turkish coffee and/or Gelato.

El Harissa has some table seating, so its a great lunch spot. Food is yummy and reasonably priced, and the staff have alwsys been friendly and accommodating. And their hazelnut fig gelato is over-the-top fabulous!!!

A modest and great place. The owners, Khaled and Suzanne, are very warm and welcoming, and the home-made food is fantastic. Their warmth is refreshing and rare. If I lived closer, Id visit there a few times a week.

Me and my friend ordered lablabi, tunisian salad, meatballs and cous cous. Everything is was out of this world. Food is rich in taste. Also try the morrocon tea. Highly recommended. I am glad i found this place.

Enjoyed the Meatballs, Chicken and Couscous along with Jewel Rice. Harissa was spicy but not overly so. Finished up with delicious Gelato. I hear the soup is where its at, but will have to go back to find out: )

Small but delicious menu. My favorites were the meatballs, chicken berber (E) and hummus. The chicken couscous was also great. I wasnt a big fan of the parsnip puree, but that was just me.
