Jan 5, 2015 around 5pm I ordered a quart of shrimp fried rice with garlic. I got home and opened the container and the rice smelled burned. I figured it was the garlic but when I ate a spoonful it was charred. I emptied the rice onto a plate to see if all the rice was burned throughout. Overall the whole quart of rice was no good. This is my first and last time going to China Kitchen. I will continue going to the teppanyaki grill across the parking lot.

I HATED this place! Server was incredibly rude, took my full plate of food and my partners from the table without asking if we were done, food tasted burnt, & the server still had the audacity to say "you know you have to leave me a tip right." Worst service and food ever. Will never go here again. If you have decent taste you would go to the Chinese restaurant across the parking lot. Not this trash!!!!!!

Used to go there all the time. Usually good. But the last few werent so good. Ordered my meal, only to get home and find a hair in it. Called to complain, they offered to exchange it, so I went back. Got a new one, only to get home and found another hair in it. Called to tell them whomever cooks should be wearing a net. Never did they even apologize

My mom and I just ate here and the chicken was spoiled. We told our waitress about it and she said it was just the oil. I do believe the chicken was rotten because it had a VERY foul odor and taste. We returned the food and we could then hear Chinese yelling going on back in the kitchen. Not a very pleasant dining experience. I would not recommend.

Food was delicious but the service SUCKED!!! My son wanted to go there for his birthday after Laser edge and the waitress was rude, ignored us and had a very bad work ethic!!! It took over 30 minutes to receive the food and when we received our refills, the waitress just grabbed all the glasses and brought back what she thought we had... What???

Fairly good food and decent prices. Some of the lunch specials are less than $5. They also serve cocktails which is different from most Chinese restaurants. Staff is good and you get your order quickly. The pepper steak ia authenic with a rich gravy. The honey chicken is good though sometimes i wish the portions are better.

I was not satisfied. My friend and I went to dine in. I ordered the Chicken Chow Fun, and asked for no onions. When she came back with our food, I had a lot of onions in my food. When we went to pay for our food, our waitress asked us, "how much tip would you like to leave?". I do not like this restaurant or their staff.

Metro Detroit has the best Chinese American food and this place is no exception. Great prices and entrees come with soup, dinner rolls, and egg rolls when you dine in. The portions are very generous and each order can easily be divided into two meals. For the hungry, budget-minded customer this place is a solid choice.

I used to go here all the time, but then this place started getting rather cheap with their inputs. I found a bell pepper one time that was nearly all rotten, and basically had spores coming out of it in my food. It has gone down the drain after so many years of not caring what is in their food.

Sweet and Sour sauce bland. Chicken was stale tasting. I got the appetizer plate, I couldnt even bite thru the ribs. The shrimp was litetally GRAY. I didnt even bother to try it. The rangoon was stale and old. Come here for alcoholic drinks only!! Eggrolls were greasy too.

The worst Chinese food Ive ever had!! Rice was burnt, Sesame chicken was not cooked well has brown sauce, greasy egg rolls, and the worst crab Rangoon in the metro area. The two stars are for the HOT FOOD that was delivered. I will never order from China Kitchen EVER!!

This place has consistent, reliably good food. Ive been going there for years. Love it. And; about the tip commenter below; I dont know what theyre talking about, theyve never once done that to me in all the years of going there. Thats hogwash i think.

I cant even believe a lot of the reviews for this. Ive gone here for 15 years, and have never found a better place for Chinese. Absolutely fantastic, big portions, terrific people. Best place for Chinese in the area, HANDS DOWN.

We go here nearly every Saturday and always when we see a movie at the Star Gratiot which is in the same complex. Really good, fresh food; terribly inexpensive, great service. This is one of my favorite restaurants!

How do you allow you waitress to ask if how much I tip or not? Poor service poor tip. They have lost a customer forever... this was a good place to eat but no longer. Dont waste your time or money

I worked under the table for here and there r mold and they dont use gloves and the dishwasher dont kill the backera anddddd there coolor is leaking I got food poisoning from here

Friendly service, clean, decorated nicely but outdated. Good value, okay food, tasty egg rolls! Coffee tasted like it was on the burner for some time, but it was the afternoon.

Food is good but the waiters are not modest at all about adding a tip to your bill when dining in. Which is very upsetting! I would not recommend dining in. Carry out only!!
