Absolutely terrible service. I used to go to this Checkers all the time growing up. Lots of good memories. But last night, my wife & I walked over to order food at around 10:30pm on a Friday night. The walk-up window was closed. We tried to get the attention of employees and no one made eye contact with us. We then tried to go through the drive-thru window and no one answered us. Finally, we went right up to the window and they refused us service directly, because we were not in a car. I used to eat at Checkers whenever I could. After this experience, Ill be going to Wendys or other restaurants that actually want my business.

While sitting at the drive thru window waiting to receive my order an employee was standing in the parking spots smoking a cigarette. I could smell it wafting into my drivers side window and ended up with a horrible headache and nausea so couldnt even eat my food by the time I got home. They should have their employees smoke somewhere away from customers receiving their food, very rude to the customers who have bad reactions to cigarette smoke.

I order the mushroom and swiss today and they literally gave me a mushroom and swiss with no meat. I drove back and almost snatched someone across the counter but i just got a refund and had fries with no burger. With that all being said i just want to kno how can you forget to put the burger on the bun. Years ago this was the best checkers to me, i had my tastebuds set on that burger and bit into bread cheese and mushrooms burger. Unheard of
