For the locals this is our go to place. Vet techs often work late and here we can unwind with our co workers, watch a game, have a drink and share some food after a long day. They have different specials every night from 1/2 off pizza (GOOD pizza) Mondays, to $2 Baraboo brew pints on Tuesday, (try the cherry wheat, its awesome) to $3 martinis on Thurs and more. The French Onion soup is on point, the apps are all great ranging from your everyday wings to a delicious spin on Calamari that comes in thick cut strips with asparagus, roasted red peppers and a tangy sauce, Wisconsin Cheese Fries and more. They have awesome daily specials including the $10.99 "fajita frenzy" on Thurs. I am not into dessert much, but when a friend orders the "Ice Cream Nachos" I cant help but have a couple. And lastly, if youre looking for a good hangover cure on Sunday, they make a hearty Bloody Mary with salami, provolone, olives, celery, etc. I prefer it with Titos vodka. Ive been coming here for a long time and so have all my friends. Vet techs have a pretty tight budget, but if you know the specials you can easily have a good meal and good beer without hurting your pocket. Love you Boo Crew.

To start, I ordered a strawberry margarita. The waitress never asked if I wanted sugar or salt on the rim, so I figured nothing would be on the rim. When it came out to the table, there was salt on the rim other than sugar (more preferred, Im sure) and it was VERY poorly blended. There were huge chunks of ice to the point where I couldnt drink it through a straw and without the straw I had to chew the ice chunks. Secondly, I ordered mozzarella sticks unknowingly they were dough rolled deep fried rather than the traditional bread crumb. Thirdly, I ordered sweet potato fries with a SIDE ORDER of butter and cinnamon. Instead was brought the fries drenched in butter and an overload of cinnamon. I will not be going back here nor recommending this facility. The owners should think about having a kitchen / bar manager to approve everything before it leaves their hands. This was very poor service. I went with a friend who was shocked by how everything I ordered was not up to par. Please reevaluate your company.

Let me preface this with...this is NOT a review on the beer...even though my bottle of miller lite was $4...during lunchtime...but whatever. My husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch. I dont know why they even bothered with the so-called lunch menu. The options on the lunch menu were unappealing and the same price, if not more, as the regular menu items. My husband ordered the "pizza bread" bc the picture on the menu placed directly below the item looked like breadsticks with pepperoni leading one to believe that was the "pizza bread". Needless to say it was NOT. In stead he was presented with an $8 plate of breadsticks with cheese and a pool of grease. The waitress just said that she would tell the manager to fix the menu bc "it looked a little deceiving". In conclusion we stopped in for lunch and ended up paying $27 for a small salad, breadsticks and 2 miller lites. BOO to this place, and remember, kids, you cant spell Great Baraboo without BOO!

What to expect from this restaurant: poor service, unattentive managers, and bland, overpriced food I have worked in the restaurant business for 13 years. This is honestly the worst place I have ever worked. Management is horrible and unprofessional. I agree with other reviewers that the service is horrible. The bartenders would take 15 minutes to make drinks, or sometimes forget about your order altogether. The food always took a long time, even when not that busy. If you have a coupon, plan on waiting at least 20 minutes for your bill. In order to take a coupon off of a customers bill, the server has to track down the manager (often very hard to do) and wait in line with the other servers with coupons. Also, staff is not clean or professional. I have personally seen more than once a server take food (a fry or onion ring) off of a customers plate and serve it to them! The food is mediocre, frozen, bland, and overpriced. Save your money.

This bar is awesome. I love it because I have spent the better part of my ever increasing adulthood with this place as a staple of my nightlife. Food is good. Staff is good. The beer Is alright. The ONLY thing I can not stand about this place is the lighting. The lighting makes me feel as if a syphilitic prostitute from Mogadishu is urinating in my eyes after she ate several bags of flaming hot cheetos dipped in Daves insanity sauce. Please for the love of God, do something with the lights so that when I leave the bar, I dont have to be twice as worried about my driving home because I am suffering from my eyes adjusting to the abusive lighting in the otherwise comfortable space. Either that or hand out Barrabo imprinted sunglasses. It would cost the same either way. Maybe the glasses would be cool. If the glasses increase business, I would like a 100 dollar bar tab. HMU

At first it seemed great, we found a parking spot up front we were greeted right away and seated. It was busy, a party of 15 had just left as we came in, but there were open booths near us, it wasnt crowded.. After waiting 10 minutes and not even getting our drink order taken, but seeing 4 different servers walk right by us and 2 busers look at us, I made eye contact with the greeter who looked away quickly.. So we got up and I walked towards the greeter who said have a good night. Didnt try to help us find a server or a manager just smiled and looked away. Terrible service. Wont be back and Ill remember to share my experience.

Service really sucked. There was this really bad bar tender/wait staff. She was never trying to serve us, and she was always texting and when you requested something she would look at you like you were a leper or something. She looked all crazy and tattooed too, I could smell liqueur on her breath. She was basically trashy, not a person youd want around your family, thats for sure! I would never recommend this place to anyone. There were not even that many people there in the first place! They should definitely get rid of this bad waitress/bartender. My kind of place. They have a great perch deal on Tuesdays. They have all you can eat Perch on Tuesdays for $12.99. You can have deep fried or sauteed. We have tried both, but the sauteed is our favorite. With it you get soup or salad and potatoes (you choice of styles) and vegetables. Then to top it off they have a great selection of beers for $2 per pint. It is really a great deal with good food, good service and good prices. What more can you ask for. I have been here before and will come back whenever I am in town. I recommend this place for the perch and beer on Tuesdays.

This service at this Bar is a terrible ,the. wait staff is not customer friendly, they consider a. Custometer an interrruption of their petsonnal conversations and a customer,a imposition and disrupting their texting. I have been in this bar and the theme is the same. A meal with your family is fighting for service from the bar this is not the place to have a drink or a meal in if you you do get service its with an attitude .Do not start an evening here its bad service
