Absolutly love this big boy. Waitresses are very nice and friendly, prompt, and helpful. Food is excellent. Ok, that being said, me and my family just had a horrible experience their about 15 minutes ago with one of the managers. Cant remember her name, but she is a short female with dark hair, only manager there that fits this description. Anyhow, there was an accident at our table right before we left, waitress spilled pop all over the place and got 2 of us soaked with pop. The waitress said that she had set something up at the front to compensate for the accident, ok, no problem. Thank you. We get to the front and the manager, the short lady with dark hair and looked to be in her late 30s to mid 40s, refused to honor the compensation. Instead, she was very rude and ignorant and was making fun of people with mental disabilities. I told her that that was not acceptable and was very offensive, and that i am in fact mentally disabled. Then instead of apologizing, she continued to insult me for being "a worthless retard that is too stupid to contribute to society". I dont get it. Who in their right mind made this lady a manager?!? Everyone else tho is very nice and considerate. But i guess everywhere you go, there will always be that one bad apple. I will never interact with this person again and will avoid her as best as i can. Sorry for the long rant, still pretty upset. I almost cried in the car on the way home. The lady was very hurtful.

The 2 of us went in and decided to have the breakfast bar to keep it simple; after I got my plate, I noticed the meats were cold; the ham and the bacon, and so were the biscuits; several hot items were just simply sitting there on the buffet with no way of keeping them hot! The potatoes were all cold and dried up like they were leftover from another day. A serving of the cottage cheese tasted spoiled, as well. I said i didnt like it and that everything was cold, and I ordered 2 eggs with toast instead. I was just kind of dismayed; having worked in restaurants for years, I know it is standard to take temps on hot/cold foods but looks like no one cared on this buffet. Also shocked to see the charge for breakfast senior buffet is $12.99! Thats what was on our check, anyway; hope she didnt leave mine on there because i sure didnt eat it.The waitress was super nice, though.

Weve had good and bad experiences here. The food is very good. The atmosphere is fairly nice.The service... eh, not so much. We complained once to the corporate headquarters because our complaint was actually about the Manager on duty and one of the waitresses. The manager was on the phone most of the time. We had to ask 3 different waitresses for another ketchup because ours was empty. No one ever came around with more coffee. Our waitress acted as though she didnt want to be there, let alone wait on anyone. When we finally did get her attention, (after practically grabbing her by the arm), she was SO RUDE that we contemplated not going back. So if you go, dont sit in Robins area! Other waitress seem to act the same way; uncaring, casually flippant, and somewhat discourteous. -- We never did get a response to our complaint.

Absolutely ridiculous, the soup selection was all non vegetarian so my lover Joe was unable to enjoy a full meal and had to pay extra for soup he didnt eat. I asked for hot sauce and received a bottle with less than two drops of condiment (tobacco). My burger looked like Baghdad on a bun, the bun almost had what could be called a sweaty like quality to its exterior. I received yet another near empty bottle of hot sauce. The best thing to come out of this visit was discovery of homecooking. Big boy is bullcrap do not eat!!!

Server Eric was attentive and very friendly. However the restaurant was much too understaffed for the day. Poor and ineffective management. Three people and no cashier makes the wait time to be cashed out or assisted with a To-Go order a complete waiting game. Waitstaff seens overwhelmed and stressed, complete chaos. Although they remained kind throughout my experience. Chili was quite old and tasteless: dinner was good, but took 32 minutes to arrive at my table. Mid- day/Lunch Time Wednesday.

Horrible service. I waited 5 minutes to be seated. Not a smile in the whole place. Becky promptly arrived 8 minutes after I sat down. Shes a real peach. What do you want? Yeah. Thats what I want to hear. Didnt ask if I wanted desert just gave me the bill. I wanted desert. Service is never fantastic here but jeez. Im finally convinced no longer to bring my hard earned money here.

Big Boy is a regional casual dining chain. They have several restaurants throughout Michigan and a few locations in some other states. They have a weekend breakfast buffet, and while the selections arent extensive, what they have is still pretty good. And for a breakfast buffet, its pretty affordable too.

I wont come here again! I had a just a basic breakfast (eggs, hash browns, meat), but the portion of food was very small. I was given just two sausage links. The quality of food was just average. My bill was $7.50 +tip!

Great salad and soup bar. Friendly waitress. I wasnt impressed by my old time favorite Slim Jim. I havent had one in many years and it wasnt the same as I remembered it. It was just okay but not as good.

Great food and a wonderful experience, as always. Our waitress, Marie was so nice, and so attentive to our needs. We always had full glasses. She was so sweet and have our boys popsicles after our meal.

Breakfast buffet is way overpriced. Food is mediocre at best, usually cold, and not a great selection. Only reason I go is because my grandkids love pigging out on the waffles.

Took 45 mins to get our food. When we got our food it was cold. Way overpriced for cold food. Never coming here again. Worst big boy Ive ever been too.
