This place really needs to know that the parking lot is not just their parking lot. Its a mini mall that has other stores too. This lady owner came out screaming at me to move my 26 foot truck because she said I was in their parking spot. You are an owner and you dont even possess qualities of an owner, first of all you should have came at me polite and ask me to move. Second of all call someone to come clean the snow on your parking lot so your customer can park there and not in the mall parking lot. Third of all I was going to order food from your place but after the yelling and screaming I decided to go else where. I am not going to get into an argument when I know the parking lot is not just for her. Plus I just arrived and I did some shopping at the dollar tree. I have every rights to park their since I am a buying at the stores. Her restaurant has parking on the side that belongs to her, on her property but she some how thinks that the one in front of her store belongs to her too. If it belong to you them why was a truck with a plow only cleaning the mall parking lot and not your parking lot, that is when I knew it didnt belong to her. Lady you really think by calling the cops at me and sending the law you are going to scare me or even get me fired. You called the cops just over a parking spot, really. Well just to let you know that the cop was very understanding and understood what I said to him and we even joked around too. From reading some of these complains you really need to concentrate on your bussiness and the food you serve and leave the customer parking lot that does not belong to you alone. You need to read your contract again but in English and get someone to translate for you because you dont know how to read correctly.

EASILY the best Generals Chicken Ive ever had. Scale of 1-10, theyre easily a 10. The closest Ive had outside of China Village is maybe a 6? The quality of their GC is that good. I moved to Royal Oak the other year and tried every Chinese take out in the area and none came close to China Village near my work. Havent had any GC this good in Genesee or Oakland county. Its crazy. Their Sweet and Sour chicken is also good, but nothing too special in comparison to the GC. Saying that, its still one of the best S&S Ive tried. Majority of the reason Im even writing this review is so I can remember the restaurant in the future and in hopes they expand since theyre an hour drive now.

Very poor service. We came here to order and we couldnt decide our food . The representative at the counter was very rude when asking for the menu slamming it down and not making us feel welcome . When we ordered she made us feel stupid saying" do you know the difference between chow mein and chop suey" extremely rude and so many other ways to appropriately address that. We gave this place a 2nd chance because its the closest Chinese location to our home but we will be going else where to avoid this place. I wont go anywhere where Im not treated right or welcomed.

Absolute worst service every time I go there. When I order a take out, its never ready when I get there. I still end up waiting at least 10-15 minutes. And every time they forget something or get my order wrong in some way. I never order anything complicated. Since I work around the corner and am coming during my lunch break, I am unable to come back to correct the order. This has happened 3 times. When I call, they half-hardheartedly offer to give me free white rice or deny making a mistake in the first place.

My family and I are regulars at China Village because we enjoy the food and atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff is always accommodating, friendly and will engage in chit-chat with you if there is time. In my opinion, that is what sets this place apart from other restaurants we go to in the area as it feels like personal service versus just being served.

With the most respect possible if your going to run a business you need to understand what people order and get it correct. Its honestly dangerous for people with food allergies. We have stopped eating here since we cant order it to go since the workers do not speak English. Im sick of them getting my our order wrong and blaming it on the customer.

Mediocre Chinese restaurant in the area of my work. We go here for lunch once every week or two. The service is not very fast. I like that the manager handles the ghetto trash by increasing their price until they either pay or leave. Im sick of hearing people in this area haggle and negotiate after they order food that is clearly priced.

Wow, my first time ever in this restaurant, I asked a couple of questions about the menu and the woman at the front became kind of rude to me, I never found out how good the food might be, I decided with this kind of initial reception I would find another Chinese restaurant who wanted my business without the added attitude.

I walked into China Village expecting just the average strip mall kind of Chinese carryout, but was pleasantly surprised how good this place was. Fried rice tasted fresh, sweet and sour chicken was crispy, soup was hot, portions were big, prices are cheap, service was excellent. Definitely would come back if Im in the area.

Currently closed for remodeling. Phone rings endlessly. How hard would it be to hook up an answering machine with an outgoing message that they are closed for remodeling? Maybe put a little notice on their website? Not clear when they will reopen, maybe sometime in September. Youll have to drive there to find out.

This is one of my favorite restaurants and in my opinion the best Chinese food in the area. The sesame chicken is quite exceptional and my favorite by far. The soups are good as well and the lunch/ dinner combinations are a great deal. Service is usually quick and pleasant.

Food is "OMG" yummy. Everyone is polite. Very clean. Have tried other Chinese in my area and surrounding local areas. This one is the BEST! You also get enough food to feed a small army, in one meal. :) for a fair price.

My chicken in the Almond chicken was so tough I could not chew it. My box was broken too and all the juice was in the bag. Terrible.
