Place is super small so we were confused if the bar was open. Its upstairs so we almost left thinking it was closed but someone told us to go up. Granted it was a Tuesday the atmosphere felt weird. Didnt expect it to be such a small hole in the wall place. We were confused if it was a bar or a place to eat and if there was a waiter. After we sat down a waiter approached us and gave the menu. The drink menu is awesome and they have weekday specials. We got a gin and house made tonic on a Tuesday which was pure delicious. I would not recommend this place for dinner but they have some small plates. The vibe is very New Orleans and the deer with a hat and beads was definitely a bit strange. Overall would recommend as one of Ann Arbors bars.

An underground hipster / local bar; you may have to look around a bit to find it. (its on the street on the opposite side from the gay bar, and theres no sign). They rotate their cocktail menu and theyre usually great and well made. They have an array of off the wall beers and even punch specials if you hit them on the right day. On their recurring menu is a lovely white russian using whip creamed. Its a great place for a late night rendezvous and a special cocktail called a "date night".

This place is dingy and the concept is too pretentious for even the snobbiest of hipsters. Theyll cut you off if you have more than 4 standard drinks an hour. Staff is incredibly rude - one time when my card was simply blocked by my bank but was full of money, the waitress simply came back and said, "youre card was declined. Give me another". And this, in a very rude voice. The proper phrasing is, "Can you contact your bank? The terminal isnt accepting your card right at the moment".

A bit hipster, but great cocktails (its one of the few places does a proper White Russian and Whiskey Sour)! If youre looking for a quiet, cozy bar definitely check this out!
