Crepes Tea House! What a FIND! I was looking for lunch in the area, late afternoon, and bumped into this spot by accident. Visiting and having lived in Western Mass many years ago, I was kind of touring around to see what changes had taken place in this last decade. The exterior and interior of this building are beautifully decorated and has had a number of different owners and types of food establishments in it. This time the building is smiling. The folks here are wonderful, friendly, attentive and welcoming. I would call it a Cultural experience of the highest order, but what do I know? Just a dude stopping in for lunch after all. My first encounter with the staff was with Peter, he was masterful and attentively instructive, without being pushy or condescending regarding my lack of knowledge of the menu items. Honestly, if not for him, I may not have been as fortunate as I was while I attempted to deviate from my Burger King norm of a fast lunch. I actually have changed my perception of what a "fast lunch" ought to be. My base is out of West Hartford CT, so the "fast" part of lunch now is: “What route is fast”, to get me back there, and now that means for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or an evening snack. I have gone back, repeatedly, because of that first visit. Now I am able to say that every meal time or snack time, my experience has been the equal of my first encounter. Great. The front staff is generally college age, pleasant, engaging, and with a friendly smile as was Peter. On one visit I was able to interact with a manager who clearly was attentive to the business needing to be done, but not so busy that he was unable to also extend the warmth and friendliness of the establishment. Clearly, to my eyes, he held the tiller to this ship and I am confident my future visits will continue to exceed expectations. Now, for the real gem. The folks "in the back room" (Read that: The Kitchen.), they are magic makers! They are right out of the garden they must be hand picking the veggies and herbs for use in their artistry. I think that maybe I shall never see these magicians of foods, flavors and fancy because if it were me that was fortunate enough to have them in my employ, I would be as protective of them as the gold in Fort Knox. The difference is: I do not know, personally, if there is really any gold in vault; while it is clear that at the a Crepes Tea House the purest foods, herbs and flavors arriving at my table and with the presentation of folks with a savvy, tasteful eye is delicious, and gives the strongest of evidence there are magicians of the food’s golden recipes "in the back vault, I mean room". Shhhhhh...To close, keep this to yourself, this is between just you and me. I know they are already a successful establishment, but I do not want to go there one day and find myself wishing for a seat and have to wait an hour as I often have to do at establishments with a far pricier and less adequate of a menu offering. Oh, yeah, you just gotta try the "Create your own crepe" page of their unique twelve page menu. приятного аппетита - priyatnogo appetita - Im makin Trxxs - Sharing is Caring - KOPIMI

I met a friend here for lunch. It was my first time going. I was instantly greeted when I walked in the door and the restaurant had a welcoming feel to it. We were both regularly checked on throughout our meal and while we took some time to speak afterwards. The staff was pleasant and the waiter gave suggestions and what was popular. It was a great help since it was our first time there. Our teas came first and were delicious. Our food came shortly after and the wait time was very short. The food was just delicious. I definitely plan to go back for either lunch or dinner. There is a pretty full menu that gives you enough choices for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. We both chose a large crepe which was extremely filling and I had enough to bring home.

First time coming here with friends, one of them told us we should all go and it was SO GOOD, waitress was so adorable. They took a while to bring the food but it was four of us and it came all beautifully so it was fine. You have to expect to wait when you order at any restaurant. The sweet crepe for dessert was so good and I dont like fruit with chocolate but it was amazing that we ordered two. We also ordered a large plate of potatoes that were great. We ordered SMALL crepes because my friend said a large is HUGE. The "small" crepe is more than enough. I am DEF coming back to show this place to my mom and sister. I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, I RECOMMEND MAKE YOUR OWN CREPE AND INCLUDE BEEF. If you like spice get the spicey sauce, gives a slight kick. SO GOOD

Have been to this place many times, but after my most recent visit, I will most likely not come back. They have a good selection of food and teas at reasonable prices. The one thing that will keep me from coming back is the offensive Russian music videos they show continuously. I understand that they cannot control the type of music videos that are played, however when there are naked women dancing around, and more than a few customers come up and politely ask the staff to change the channel, and nothing is done-its not much of customer service. Its not the "warm and inviting" atmosphere one expects, and since there are t.v.s on every side, its tough to avoid the disturbing images that are constantly there. Too bad.

Ive been here an hour and a half... and still waiting on the food...waitress said its never been this busy on a Thursday night...and yes... it was slammed when we walked in the door. Once we got our food, it was an appropriate temperature, although there were 3 in my party and the last person didnt get her food till after we finished ours. :-( Decor and atmosphere is nice/relaxing, the variety of teas are wonderful. Hope the next time I come here the wait isnt so long... P.S. The owner stop by the table and explain the situation... Ill definitely be trying this once again to give it a more accurate review.

This place is great. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, and the tea menu is VERY extensive. Surprisingly, the wait staff is very knowledgeable about tea, and was very kind and friendly in recommending new teas for me to try based on my taste. The food menu is somewhat limited, but what they do have is second to none. Due to the ethnic neighborhood it is in, the TVs are tuned to Russian television, but this does not bother me one bit since I love cultural immersion, especially in my own back yard. There is no language barrier with the staff whatsoever. You will NOT be disappointed!!

I went for breakfast. The Colombian coffee triple infusion tastes better flat water. The bacon was soft. The latte coffee mug was as large as a cup of espresso. The sunny side up eggs were not cooked properly as well as the scrambled eggs that tasted other things than eggs. Prices are too high for what it is. And the quality and quantity are very mediocre. The place is dirty, dust, grease everywhere and even sprawling canvases hang from the chandelier. To avoid as well as the neighborhood not very reassuring.
