January, 2016: This restaurant proves to be traditional in comparison to most pizza establishments in all ways but one- quality of food. New Weir routinely serves exceedingly fresh and savory cuisine whether your selection is a steak tip salad that features tantalizingly crisp vegetables and steak that is seasoned and seared to perfection, to a pizza pie assorted with seemingly endless topping combinations that I can wholeheartedly say is among the closest physical embodiments of perfection the human race has ever achieved. From the hand tossed dough to the incredibly robust tomato spread, and the creamy mozzarella, this restaurant is undoubtedly head and shoulders above and pizza parlor within 25 miles. Ambiance and service are average at best, however the quality of food may certainly make up for the lack thereof. UPDATE June, 2016: Ok my friends. Something has gone wrong. This restaurant has undergone a drastic change in quality. Meals are lackluster and service is some of the worst Ive seen. Its pains me to see the demise of a former city staple, but they have caused it to themselves. Take my word for what it is worth, do not dine here any longer.

My family and I went there for lunch. We ordered a large pizza, buffalo fingers, and a salad. We just started eating the pizza when we noticed a little hair on a slice. We told the waitress and she was nice and had the cook make another one for us, no big deal. While we waited for the pizza we picked at the salad and found another hair in it. We were beyond grossed out at that point and were getting ready to leave when AGAIN we found a hair in the celery that came with the buffalo fingers. We tipped the waitress for being kind and immediately left. Ive been plenty of times and never had a problem. The waitress was very polite but it was an awful experience and do not see myself going there ever again.

We are about 20 minutes into our visit and we still dont have out drinks. We ordered a pizza a bowl of soup and a Ceasar salad. The waitress brought us over two Ceasar salads with chicken. I touched the pita bread because I didnt know that it had chicken. We mentioned it to the waitress and she took back the ones with chicken and then delivered them over to the correct table and the people never even knew I touched their food. She finally brought our food and my soup was Luke warm and we still didnt get our drinks. Good is pretty good but the service just isnt worth it!

My family and I total of 5 of us were asked not to sit in the big booth that it was reserved for the owner. We then squished into the smaller booth. The waitress then took our drink order. I then noticed the owner sitting down. The waitress served the owner before us. Im sorry but im a customer. Shouldnt this owner make sure his customers are served before him..obviously we werent a priority so we walked out. Never again will i go im very disapointed.

I ordered a large cheese and 3 small pizza..I called order in at 730pm and given 30 min wait got there at 805pm. Still had to wait another 20 min to get home to cold pizza. And I spoke with the manager and he said I should of been there on time?? OK I was there and they knew it? It now 845pm and they want to make new pizza now so i can wait another hour!! I think not..

This was my moms favorite restaurant before she moved to Georgia, and she always goes there when some comes to visit. Fish and chips is my favorite meal, but its not healthy so I only eat it once a year. I always get it from New Weir Pizza. Its the best around.

Ive been to New Weir Pizza on at least 3 occasions. In one instance I ordered the veal parmesan, and it was perfectly succulent; another time I believe I got a bacon pizza, which was really good as well. Great food, reasonable service, would recommend. :)

Yum is all I can say. Great food and great service. Been coming here for a while and there is nothing that isnt great. Pizza, fish and chips, their subs and even then salads are all great! Always have something good on the telly!

Great place! Everything Ive tried is excellent, except for the pizza. The staff is very friendly and they make sure the best they can that every order is right. Another plus is they generally give silverware with most meals.

We enjoyed a relaxing valentines dinner with the whole family by ordering takeout from weir pizza. Everyone had a delious hot meal in the comfort of our home due to weir pizza a great takeout service.

I ordered an Italian calzone made with "fresh deli meats". For 11.75 I got a calzone with one thin layer of salami and the rest stuffed with bologna..so gross. Will not order from them again.
