Beware! We typically love this restaurant. Yes, even though the pizza is over priced, they normally make up for it with excellent ingredients. That said, Ill have to say the last couple trips have been a great disappointment. We always order the sausage pizza with carmelized onions and sun-dried tomatoes so we know what to expect. The time before, the flatbread was average. The sausage was different-not as tasty, but still a good experience. This last time...yuk! The pizza was lukewarm when served and the sausage bland and grainy. The onions were 1/2 cooked not carmelized and the sundried tomatoes were burned. As I have recently found I need to be Gluten-free, I made the mistake of ordering one for me-DONT do it! It comes in one size-small.I ordered the Amesbury Community. It arrived with late no sauce, the crust was burned, and like our other pizza, the onions were by no means carmelized. They did offer to make another pie, but since my family had been served theirs 5 minutes before mine arrived, I really didnt want to wait. I asked instead to have sauce on the side. It was brought to the table COLD! What is up with that! Then I got the bill. That small gluten-free pizza was $9.25 for the pizza AND an ADDITIONAL $4.50 because it was gluten free! Our bill was $61.00 before the tip for three drinks (one a soda) and 2 pizzas. Seriously, with the decline in quality and the ridiculous prices, you wont catch us going back any time soon/

Just simply amazing! By far the best pizza that I have ever had, that is no exaggeration, it blows every "gourmet" pizza place out of the water. The pizza is baked in a wood fired stone oven and the dough is prepared like the old days. This also adds to the great atmosphere because the oven/pizza making is all done in view of all the customers. The ingredients were all very fresh and flavorful. They have great pizza suggestions and specials or you can create your own. The atmosphere is rustic being in an old mill but very welcoming and pleasing. The service was great, very friendly and attentive. The prices were reasonable and definitely worth it due to the product. Parking, well it is a little bit of a walk from the municipal parking lot (3 minutes) but it is a very nice walk along the canal. It does appear to get very busy, they do not accept reservations but they do allow call ahead seating, I would suggest that, also they do have ample room for waiting downstairs and along the bar. I am not just recommending you check this place out, I am demanding it. This place is best enjoyed with a beautiful woman and great conversation. Enjoy.

Really like the location, feels like walking back in time. Was disappointed in the pizza itself, but Im going to give it another shot. The crust was undercooked and very chewy—definitely not up to the standard I would expect from a brick oven pizzeria. But, maybe it was partially a topping problem (we got a pizza with a lot of wet toppings), so Ill give it another shot soon. Service was great! Loved the fact that they focus on local, organic ingredients and have only regional beers on tap.

Flatbread is very consistent in the kitchen and they continue to make very nice pizzas. Beyond the pizzas the menu is fairly limited and there is not much to choose from if you are looking for sides or appetizers, I recall seeing a few salads but not much else. Maybe that doesnt matter though because the pizza is the main event here and there are no problems with that. Over various visits Ive had mixed luck with service, several times it has been great, a couple of times not so much.

As a regular customer of both Bedford and Cambridge, I feel confident saying this location not up to par. Our sausage pizza had literally less than one crumble of sausage per slice. It was covered with mushrooms. When we asked for a side of sauce, we were given a coffee cup filled with ice cold tomato sauce. I get the sausage pizza at least twice a month at their other locations, its usually filled with sausage and the side of sauce are always warm.

Was not at all disappointed by this Flatbread. Have been to several other locations and this one is just as great as the others. Atmosphere is warm, cozy and relaxed. Great waiting area downstairs. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and the food was excellent (as usual). Love that they always have a meat and vegetarian special if youre looking for something a little different from the regular menu. Highly recommended!

Another one of many goto places in Amesbury to eat and enjoy the company of loved ones. Staff is always on top of things. Food is made from local ingredients, and they do wonders with in our community. From hosting fund raisers for those in need, to straight out supporting local needs, and community driven drives. Food atmosphere, and staff are awesome. Always a wonderful choice. Scott

The flatbreads are great fresh out of the wood oven. The salads are fresh and green. The local beer selection is good. Unless you want an upscale version of Chuck E. Cheeses, though, its better to stick to lunch. This place gets packed for dinner often, with lots of children, and the brick walls tend to echo. It can be quite noisy.

I drive from Andover to Flatbreads when I want a special pizza treat. Love the sausage pizza. When I go with my family, we order 3 pizza, we can only eat 2 but we always bring one back home and we get variety. I have not been to the one in Bedford yet, it is certainly closer and I may try it again. We also love the location

EXCELLENT pizza spot with great drinks as well. Staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I always look forward to visiting the area and this is one of the main reasons why. If you are looking for a great pizza or for a great restaurant in general with a fun atmosphere, do not miss this place!

The best pizza I have ever had. I abslutely recommend it if you are looking for good crust but not too thick and doughy. The ingredients are amazingly flavorful and organic. That has been my experience during many years visiting this place enjoying REAL PIZZA!

Enjoyed casual dining here for years ... what has changed??!! Disappointed today! Watered down drinks & the famously organic salads ... dull, tasteless & topped with a thin dressing that could not possibly cling to a lettuce leaf. Oh the coffee was fresh.

One of my favorite restaurants of all time!! Pizza is delicious. Always fresh local ingredients. I usually ge whatever the special is....it never disappoints. And the salads are addictive. I dont know if its the seaweed or the dressing, but its awesome.

Dry dusty "flatbread" pizza. This place is a gathering place for the cargo shorts, sandals, carrying my car keys and cellphone crowd. You go there to be seen. Its the upper class hangout in Amesbury. Food is not at all worth the price.

Amazing pizza and atmosphere, live music and good beer selection. Outdoor seating and all organic, wholesome ingredients. You can watch them make and cook the pizza in their brink oven right there in the center of the dining room.
