We ordered the Ganpoongki (boneless chicken slices fried in a sweet and spicy sauce)- $20 and a soft tofu kimchi soup -$13. The chickens sauce was too much on the sweet side, not enough on the spicy. The tofu soup tasted great though. The servers also skimped on the side dishes, only bringing out two small dishes of radish and cucumber (no kimchi, sad). I would argue that the chicken is overpriced for what you get, but Id come back for the soup-based dishes.

It is first time to have cool jjajang noodle(짜장면) for me here...also waiter didnt care our table. 짜장면 식은거 첨 먹네요. 배달해도 여기보다 따뜻할듯. 알스턴은 괜찮던데 여긴.. 서빙하시는분은 불러도 그냥가고..

This is the best Korean food Ive had in the Boston area. Much better than Koreana, better than the Buk Kyung in Allston, better than the places at the 88 food court in Allston (though those are still decent, wish I lived around the corner from that food court). No real decor to speak of, but I go for the food. It does seem to be mostly Korean people who go there, which is a good sign. Friendly service, great Korean food, a hidden gem!

I remember this place as having been much better. There were a number of problems tonight. The scallion pancake was undercooked and greasy. The seafood soup with "extra seafood +$2" didnt contain much seafood. In both cases, the smallish shrimp were peeled but not deveined (ew). The soup dumplings were torn. The fried rice with vegetables contained hardly any vegetables, no visible egg., and was tough. The server was very nice though.

Service was fine, but the food was quite disappointing. We both ordered hot noodle soups, and both were heavy on cheap veggies (mostly onions) with very little meat. The squid was overcooked and rubbery, and the noodles were overcooked and brittle. It may just be those dishes that are lousy, but this place made a bad first impression on us and were unlikely to give it another try.

Great food, but service could be improved. We had to ask for utensils (miso soup came with our meal and they didnt include any spoons with the bowls) and refills on our waters. But the food still came out quick and the waiter was nice. Despite the service flaws, I would consider coming back here as the prices were good and the food was delicious.

I was visiting Boston on business, and whenever Im in a new place, I want to check out the Korean fare. The ambiance was lacking but it made no difference to me. This was an excellent lunch experience, from the authentic food to the service. Id go back again. Too bad they are so far from my hometown of Boise, ID, or Id become a regular.

Yeah, definitely a super-valued place and recommend their fried-pork, many soups and feel free to enjoy their complementary Wheat Tea! Will come back again. The service was not great since they have 1-2 waiter/waitress (essentially the owner and his wife). But a decent place with its own parking lot.

The jajang noodle tastes very much like Chinese noodle! But there is nothing but onions in the sauce so after a while it just bored me. The service is terrible. You can never find a waiter or waitress unless when they serve dishes to other tables.

Their food used to be very good and the taste was pretty strong but the taste is fading away recently. Maybe they are trying to use less ingredient? I am not really sure. I used to love their food visited them regularly, but not anymore. Sad..

Nice foods. Kind staffs. I think it is better than the restaurant in korea. It provides korean style chinese dishes. I think jjambbong (짬뽕) and yuk gye jang (육계장) are very good. Although price is little bit expensive.... but it value.

This place was great! The man who serviced us was brilliant! He started conversations with us and it definitely made my dad and I more comfortable. The food was outstanding! Id obviously come back. Thank you so much

Used to be one of the better spots for Korean-Chinese Food. With change of ownership in Spring of 2016 the service and the quality of food has gone completely downhill. Will not be visiting anymore.

Pretty consistent in their quality of food. Its Korean style Chinese and the best you can get around here. The price is not too bad either. Slightly pricey but comparative to NY its similar.

Decor: So so. Food: What I LOVED Kan-Poong Ki and Yang jang Pi and Jaampoong. What I didnt like: The bathroom and parking Service: The waitress did her best..commend her effort.

The place that Koreans go to eat. Its good korean-style Chinese food but the Jjajangmyun was a little sweet. Otherwise, really tasty food. Tangsuyuk is awesome.
