The employee customer service is amazing here. I recently purchased 16lbs of strawberries for a school lunch, and on my way to the parking lot they all tumbled out of my cart and rolled all over the parking lot. Immediately, 3 BJs employees swooped in and helped me pick it all up and they insisted on replacing them with fresh ones. They even had me pull up my car and they completely loaded my car (with an enormous amount of additional items for a lunch for 204 ppl). They packed it all in neatly and could not have been more kind or professional. I tried to tell the customer service desk, but the line was long. So I hope they get this review. The great 3 employees were Richard (RG), JC, and Pricilla (all working outside). They deserve a pat on the back -- they went a long way in making me a devoted BJs customer from now on. Its so nice to see that you can still get good customer service even in a big store like BJs. Job well done!

Extremely incompetent staff. It took them 3 attempts to get my membership card right. First they misspelled my last name. When I forgot my card at home, they were not able to find membership - not by license number, not by my address. When I came with an active membership card, they fixed spelling error in the last name, but when I tried to use it, automated voice said my membership expired (while it was active). On the third attempt they updated the system again. Hope next time this card will work. But today BJs lost more than $100 in my business. Good luck competing with Amazon - they manage to do it right on the first try. I will not be surprised if Ill see BJs go out of business. Their incompetence is unbelievable, and their competition is plentyful. I will prefer Amazon over BJs every time I can.

The good thing about this store is that the staff are generally very nice and helpful, the aisles are clean and relatively easy to navigate, and the selection is pretty good for just about any type of product youre looking for. I took off a star for a two reasons: the lack of samples (come on, isnt that half the reason to go?), and the understaffed check out section. I generally come on the weekends and Im lucky if I can try two new products while walking down the aisles. Other locations and competitors seem to have tables on almost every food aisle letting you sample new products. I wish this BJs would step it up. The store doesnt usually feel very busy but somehow there is always a long line to check out with a real person.

Great quality products. Also the custom cakes/pastries are super cheap and great in taste as well(made by Wellesley Farms). I strongly recommend the custom cakes for its price and value. However, they need to keep up the stiff competition from Costco, local stores as well as internet giants such as Amazon.
