Use to go here all the time as a kid so Ive stopped in a few times as an adult. It seems like unless you special order something the sweets stay out in the glass case for weeks until theyre sold or get moldy. The brownies were almost inedible about a month ago, and the outside cream in the cream puff was hard, almost like play-doh. Yesterday got an eclair and when I bit into it the custard was sour. It was astonishingly old. I brought it back and they offered me another, but I had a feeling the others werent any fresher so I replaced it with a seasonal pumpkin cupcake, assuming that had to be semi-fresh. But once again the outer part of the frosting was kind of hard and the cake slightly stale. I hate saying this because I know its a family business and I know they cant afford to make every item fresh every day, but eclairs dont go bad that quickly. Maybe just a " good by" or "throw out by" date list would solve these problems? Ive heard great things about their bfast sandwiches, so I would recommend trying that. Pastry wise.... Maybe ask what was recently made/ put out. I truly hope this changes as this was my favorite place as a kid!

I have been going to Crosbys since I was a little kid-25 years! Ive always loved their treats, but I was really impressed by them last year when I asked them to make fall themed cupcakes for my wedding! The cupcakes were DELICOUS and unique. The price was so reasonable too. My guests are still talking about them! Thanks Crosbys for helping to make my wedding special!

I LOVE Crosby Bakery! I used to stop here a few times a week before starting my mail route to get coffee and a breakfast sandwich or a pastry. The bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches are some of the best around! Hot and fresh.

All the baked goods are simply wonderful. A return to old time quality. But the chicken pot pies are so good most people watch the schedule and order them a day in advance. Guess what todays the day.
