Very good cafe with truly outstanding baked goods. I was very impressed by the careful and polite staff at this store. This local Brookline bakery/cafe was recently partially bought out by Panera and is undergoing a huge expansion. Its going to be interesting to see if they can sustain the outstanding quality of the baked goods that originally made this bakery successful. Judging from my visit, it looks very positive. The cookies and croissant were fantastic. The coffee (drip brewed stumptown) was excellent. This store is smallish with room for about 24 people. The bar along the window is set for a comfortable height if youre standing. If youre sitting on one of the stools, its slightly awkward. This didnt prevent everyone in the store from camping out for the entirety of my visit (par for the course in a cafe with wi-fi on a Sunday). The environment was warm and welcoming. The baked goods were fantastic. Its all a cut above similar chains such as Starbucks, Peets, and Panera.

This place is an amazing little bakery/cafe, but admittedly that doesnt factor into my decision to go there. I go there for one reason, and one reason alone: Meatball subs. This place serves the finest meatball sub I have ever had the pleasure of consuming. I eat one at least once a week. Our office lunch orders there consist almost entirely of meatball subs. I have dreams about their meatball subs. I suspect that someday I shall die, spending my last breath not on words, but to inhale one final whiff of that glorious culinary construction. As I clutch it to my chest and pass from this world, knowing that no aspect of the afterlife could bring me the purity of contentment that only the perfect meatball sub can, I will feel sure that I have lived my life well to have experienced such meatball and pesto flavored joy. Seriously, though. Its that good.

Delicious, a little too sweet and not easy on your wallet. We had the pear tart, the apple crumb cake, a crispy-crusty-cinnamon-y pastry, a walnut-laced chocolate brownie and a muffin. The names of these baked goods have slipped my mind. All of it was delicious and quite certainly very much overpriced. Note to the undecided: Just pick any pastry that looks good as soon as you can because they just fly off the counters and you are left with a bit of remorse about not having ordered fast enough. If you want something a little less sugary, even more delicious and reasonably priced, then I would say, ditch this bakery and head to Paris Baguette in Central.

At our lunch at Tattes Third Street (Cambridge) location, the Balakani ciabatta sandwich composed of eggplant, feta, pesto, and sliced egg was quite good and nicely sized but needed a bit more salt. The slice of bundt-style coffee cake with walnuts, valrhona chocolate and cinnamon was very flavorful but its body missed desired richness and moistness, either by intention or as a result of standing around too long. Stumptown coffee was well-nuanced. Id rate our experience at somewhere between good and very good, or between Googles "Its okay"and "I liked it."

This cafe gets pretty busy, but the baked goods are nothing special. The service was a bit slow and there was too much crust on the quiche. I also had the "croque monsieur" made with a croissant, which was pretty good. The pear and berry tart was also nice, but the sandwiches are too dry. The bread used on the sandwich itself was a little dry and none of the filling helped with this.

Ive super fussy with my cafes and especially my coffee and this place has won me over. The food is pretty spectacular. I love breakfast and here its on another level. The ingredient pairing is perfection. My favorite is the poached eggs (on halloumi and roasted tomatoes) and the pancakes are quite delicious to. Most importantly, they make a good cup of coffee.

Tatte is a nice place to meet for coffee or breakfast. The coffee is good and their baked goods are really great. I would recommend the buttery and flaky croissants (theyre huge!) and delicious sticky buns, but pretty much anything is good. Prices are similar to smaller boutique cafes, but this is one of our favorite places for coffee!

This is a cute little spot with decent food and good coffee. You order your food before you sit down and wait for the food to be brought to your number. The only problem that I have had with this place is that both times I have been, they have forgotten a food item. Other than that, it is a decent breakfast and lunch spot.

Value tip - go between 4PM and 6PM to take advantage of the $2 pastry sale on whatever wasnt sold that day (obviously more selection at 4PM). You can save some cash, reduce waste, and get a little push to try something new. Pretty much everything is delicious!

I often get coffee drinks here, and they are always delicious. The pastries all look amazing, and the food sounds good, but sadly for me the vegan options are slim to none. I dont mean that to be a knock on the place, just letting my people know.

Small but modern and cozy. Not an ideal place to hunker down for working on a laptop, but great for a small group or to-go. Very solid espresso and coffee, significantly better than larger chains. Cinnamon-Pecan Rose is my personal favorite pastry.

Great food. I ordered a mozzarella pesto sandwich and asked to add prosciutto. There was an up charge of 3$. I think 1$ is reasonable since they are already charging me $8.50 for the sandwich. Generally, the prices here are a little high.

Great little bakery - although Im confused why there are 3 within walking distance of Kendall Square. Their cakes and tarts make beautiful gifts and presents! Lattes are also awesome. Hard to go in and not walk out with a drink or snack.

Small place with great food and service! We had shashuka and muesli for brunch and both were delicious. We also tried their pasty and ended up buying a lot to bring home as we loved it all. The rose and croissants were our favourites!

Love this place. Great pastries. Had the cheese cake cup which was fantastic. The flourless brownie was awesome, and the pecan cinnamon rose pastry was a must get. They also have breakfast and lunch items. Highly recommend this place.

Ordered a simple salad to go, thats it. Still standing/waiting 30 minutes later, even now. They have a horrificly bad system in place. There are multiple good options elsewhere - suggest going somewhere else.

Nice little Caffè with delicious pastries. Out favorite place to buy fruit tarts in Boston! The place is always busy and theres not a lot of sitting room but they make up for it with their good flavors.

Very average cafe. I ordered the BLAT sandwich and the bread was too soft to even hold everything together. Everything was falling apart when I took it up. It is pretty pricy for this quality.

The best bakery in Boston. Specialty pastry done well and great sandwiches and salads for workday lunch. Weekends menu also worth a try! My go to place for anything yum. Not cheap though.

Prices are higher than they really should be, but the coffee and snacks are above average and the staff is friendly. Some of the faux-rustic elements get to me, but thats personal taste.

This Tatte is far less insanely packed than the one on 3rd street. The people working there were nice as well. Thanks for everything :) Also the croissants are pretty yummy.
