Love, love, find it irresistible! This location is tiny so be prepared to attend. I endorse touring on a weekday. charge: appearance to spend approximately $20/dish meals: Calamari Platter $23 - simply, i might not order this subsequent time. The best issue we enjoyed off of this was the calamari and the fries. i would order calamari alone. It got here with calamari, fries, squid meatball, and squid salad. Mussles in Marinara $18 - scrumptious! Very flavorful and that they def do no longer skimp on the mussels. I loved this. Black pasta in Aglio Olio Sauce (appetizer element) $14.50 - THIS turned into BOMB. it critically is like nothing ive ever tasted before. The sauce is composed of chopped up clams and is so flavorful. doesnt flavor fishy in any respect. id fantastically recommend THIS. service: One waitress/server/hostess for the whole restaurant. The vicinity is cramped, however she got the job completed. normal, i would come here once more and order the black pasta in aglio olio sauce. Be warned, the kitchen is open to the seating location so you will scent like food upon exiting.

Tasty and the seafood is cooked well. Small place, the decor is simple and the service is basic. You can see the chef cooking at 75% of the tables. There is enough interest to come back here and try the other dishes. But will have to time the visit when the weather is warm because you have to wait outside for seating and its first come first serve. Pricing is a bit much for what I think it should cost. Lots of pasta with your dish. We had the clams casino, stuffed calamari and scallops with squid ink pasta. Scallops were sweet and the squid was cooked and stuff well. But the ratio of squid to pasta was small. The scallops could have included other hearty sides for the price. Clams casino however were Awesome! Chunks of cherry stones under a light breaking.

I got there and there was a party of 4 before me and asked how long of a wait. The waiter said about an hour. Ok I took my chances, after 50 minutes I asked how much longer and he said an hour again! My decision of waiting would have been different if he would have said about two hours from the beginning. He was rude started shouting at me if I wanted to ask myself to the guests to leave... of course I left nobody deserves to be treated like that. So I know the food is good but they need to me nicer to people. I guess they dont need to because they have enough customers. Very sad

This restaurant used to have a very nice service and food. But now thus new male server is very rude to customers. I asked him if I had to sign up for the wait but he ignored my question and just talked to someone else. He did it on purpose because I said it as he was approaching me with an eye contact. So rude to customers who are waiting outside in line. When I finally got his attention, I asked him how long the wait was. He answered me in such a way that I shouldnt wait and just go home. very rude. Disappointed on the change. Seems like they made enough money now.

Borderline perfect. This is real Italian food like youve seen on cooking shows and expensive resturants. Appetizer was mussles in garlic and wine and was fantastic. Served with bread. Well worth the price of 12-15$ Main was white wine, garlic butter sauce with shrimp and scallops 24$. Portioned well and served in the frying pan it was cooked in it really is worth the cash. Overall really impressed with the value. Smaller cosy resturant so get in quick when they open. Steallar.

Mixed feelings about this place. While when you get there for the first couple times youre getting excited about how cozy and nice this place is, but if you keep going there, youll figure that menu remains the same and its like that old dog, which cannot learn new tricks. Overall, if its been a while since youve been there, go and have some good time: tasty food, good service, nice selection of vine and beer should make your evening. Expect a line to get it: place is really small..

Daily Catch was one of the first restaurants I tried when we moved to the neighborhood. Food is good, service is friendly, and prices are middle-of-the-road. Its a pity that the place is small and theres no reservation, so you would likely have to wait outside for a table. But given the high retail rent in the area, its not likely they would have to another place. I do like the small, cozy feel of the place, a small family type of restaurant, rather than large franchise.

My fiancée and I went here for the first time tonight. And the food was excellent! It wasnt that busy so maybe that led to even better preparation of the food. I had the Swordfish special with goat cheese, marinated tomatoes, and eggplant and it was fabulous! One of the best swordfishes Ive had. My finacée had shrimp and scallops with white sauce, and she enjoyed it as well, though liked mine better :) We will definitely go again! ~Chris

ordered the usual black ink pasta, however, the taste was not the same as the one in the north end. i was very disappointed with how this one was cooked. it was very dry and it tasted more like starch. i was hoping for a consistency even though it was prepared by a different chef. overall, id still recommend going to the north end.

Food: fried calamari: ok appetizer, but Im not a big fan of this anyway black ink squid pasta... really good, huge serving, probably best to share between two people They serve the pasta in the pan they cook it in, kinda nice. The place is very small, but doesnt get as packed as the one on the North End.

Food is fantastic, and super reasonably priced for what youre getting. Its small and there are no reservations but the crew are really efficient at keeping everything rolling along. Get there early, especially if you have a big party.

Small, cozy place for seafood. Theres usually a wait, but the food makes it worth it! Try any of the black pasta dishes, you wont be disappointed - plus, the half-dish servings are pretty huge. Definitely value for money.

Have been here twice, each time had excellently prepared food. Service was a little rushed and there are very few beer selections, but the swordfish made up for it. Pricey, great for a date or special occasion.

The food was exceptionally delicious! The calamari was some of the best we have ever had! It is a small place and we waited an hour outside. It was well worth the wait! Also, the service was top notch!

18.50 for three pieces of fish and a hand full of fries. food is mediocre at best, bread and butter wasnt even included.. this is a drive by fish eatery when you see it just keep driving.

This is one of my favorite restaurants for a while but last time we came, the food was so salty that ruined our mood. The price is too high to justify the food quality inconsistency

I had the most excellent and delightful meal here. I highly recommend the place. Seating is small capacity but nonetheless a great dining experience for 2.

One of the best seafood restaurants in Boston, if not the US. Its gets very crowded with international tourists in the this 26-30 seat restaurant.
