Oh my goodness. I cannot believe this place has such good reviews. The single star is because the food wasnt bad, but the wait staff deserves negative stars. I left that place laughing because of how ridiculous my experience was there. Let me describe the series of events that led to this one star review. We got there at around 6pm on a sunday afternoon, plenty of empty seats. 1. Barely ten minutes after ordering our meal we got the check placed in front of us. We looked around and started to see that people were coming in for dinner now, so the staff wanted to rush us. We thought this was pretty rude but brushed it off, we were going to take our time enjoying our last meal in Boston. 2. Shortly after this, some customers were seated beside us. At this point the waitstaff decided to take our tea kettle and give it to them. We couldnt believe it, we were still drinking tea and werent even halfway down our soup bowls. 3. They went around all the other tables filling water as soon as it was halfway empty and we did not get the same treatment, I had to wave at them for a while before they even cared to come over and when they did, they only filled our cups halfway. 4. After we were done with our meal and gave them their check we got two broken bills back, when we asked if they could please exchange them they seemed very hesitant and annoyed that we made them open their cash register. For a second time. 5. The wait woman never left after she brought us our change and was just standing behind us asking for the tip. I didnt even have time to pull out my dollar bills or to even discuss how much tip we were leaving. Because of this and the wonderful time they gave us, we just handed her the coin change that we had handy. She scoffed as us and told us to give her dollar bills. I couldnt believe she had the audacity to tell me how much to tip her after all this. I look at her confused and she just angrily repeated "Dollars!! Dollars!!". I just shook my head and got up to leave. Ridiculous. 6. As we were leaving they were yelling at my partner in chinese "You didnt tip!!" To which my partner responded that we did. The lady then yelled at us "Never come back again!!" ...Goodness gracious, lady. Dont worry, we wont. All this as well as just very rude behaviour all throughout our meal. After leaving I just couldnt believe all that happened. Please, do not come here. No food is worth the headache these people will give you. The sour wait staff will make sure to ruin your day, or in my case, my whole trip. These people need to learn how to treat their customers and to not take tips for granted. I hope someone who works there sees this and all the other reviews complaining about the service and changes something.

The first warning sign was no boneless spareribs. But ok, I found several other items on the menu that seemed appetizing. - pork fried rice - pork/leak steamed dumplings - spring rolls - chicken wings - crispy chicken strips The pork in the pork fried rice was very soft and chewy; not quite the consistency I was looking for. The rice was flavorful, as were the peas. The sauce on side was helpful for that added bit of flavor. The pork/leak steamed dumplings were the highlight of the meal. Very tasty pork/leak combo, juicy, and hot. The dumpling dough was good. The spring rolls were very pedestrian and nothing at all to write home about. Nothing really jumped out at me here. The chicken wings werent good at all. Im not even sure they were cooked all the way through, although they were extremely hot on the outside. I couldnt quite pinpoint the sauce that they were garnished in. Doesnt matter, it didnt make them any better. The crispy chicken strips were decent but overall not that crispy. They were a mix of white and dark meat, which was nice. But, they were lacking. We left half of them on the plate. We arrived right before a lunch rush, but service was still subpar. We had to ask for water and tea refills. My plate was dirty, although it might have been a water stain from the dishwasher.

Food is delicious but service is bad. When my party and I got there, we only had a 10min wait on a Sat night which isnt bad at all. However, once we got seated and received menus, we were totally forgotten. There was another party next to our table, waitress didnt bother asking us if we were ready to order. I tried flagging down someone but no one available. Waited for at least 15mins to get someone to take out order. When the food came, this make server just place food on the table rudely. The food, again, was delicious though (crabmeat dumplings, beef chow foon, peapod garlic veggies, braised beef with cabbage). During the meal, no one checked on us (no tea or water refills. When we were done, there was absolutely no waitress/waiter at our side of the restaurant. Everybody was busy serving the other side of the restaurant. I was sitting by the window and no one was there waiting tables. We sat there for about 20mins to finally get someones attention. When they came with the check, everything also seems to be $1-2 extra per dish than it said on the menu. Not worth the wait to check the correct prices or itll be another 20mins. So, we paid and left.... Horrible service. If I ever come back to this restaurant, itll probably be take out only.

We went there for the first time on Chinese New Years Eve. We arrived around 9 pm and were seated without wait. After looking at the menu and salivating over many dishes, we settled for tofu with thousand-year eggs, Chinese celery with tofu, pork dumplings, steamed pork soup dumplings and steamed vegetable dumplings. Tofu with thousand-year eggs was the most disappointing. The soft tofu had a disturbing after taste, the sauce was brown thick (I usually have it with soy sauce and sesame oil) and they were 4 pieces of eggs (clearly not a complete egg). The pork dumplings are good. They are filled generously, then the skin is a little thick to my liking. The steamed dumplings are also good. Again, the skin can be a little thick but the filling is still delicious. The Chinese celery and tofu dish was the most tasty. The dish was cooked perfectly and tasted like what you can order in China. The service was authentic (like what can be in China: inconsistently good or bad) so I wasn’t shocked by it. Basically, I will go back. Not for the dumplings but to try other dishes.

The worst place me and my friends have ever visited. When we came in there was no greeting from anyone in the restaurant at all. We asked the cashier could we have a table for 3. She sat us at the same table as a couple that was eating and we felt weird about being in their space and then being in ours so we asked to move and that was an issue. So eventually they allowed us to move and we waited long for a server to come greet us and when the server came she asked us "Are you ready." So we tried to overlook and proceeded to order drinks. We never got our drinks and eventually another server came over to us. The first words out of her mouth are "WHAT DO YOU WANT." Everyone was very rude and we ended up leaving the place. That was the worst service we have ever had and we are from Jersey where a lot of people can be rude. But this topped. Do not ever go to this place.
