If you dont want to take a 45 minute drive to Ipswich to visit the Clam Shack, this is a great alternative. They have a lunch special from 11 to 3 pm. For about 13 bucks you can get fries, a small cup of chowder and whole belly clams. I think it is best if you eat everything there. I tried a few before I got in my care and they were pretty tender, but just a little salty. By the time I got home, a couple of them got a little tough. But they had a nice flavor and a light and crispy crust. Yummy! The clam chowder was also delicious- creamy but not too heavy with perfectly cooked clams and potatoes.

Fresh Pond Seafood is back!!! They have re-opened in a beautiful retail space. Same owners from the Cambridge Store selling the freshest seafood the old customers are used to. They will also be offering take out very soon!!! This is what a lot of us have been waiting for, about 12 minutes from the old store. Come by they are now open!!!

Fried clamps dinner was over fried and tough to eat. Haddock dinner was very good. The best of all was the fish chowder. Need a delivery option for handicapped or disabled people or the elderly who cant drive

Fried seafood plate was fresh but not impressive...The fresh fish in the market is the best fish market around..The cod fat fresh and excellent...i bought cooked shrimps for cocktail and they were perfect!!

Ah, this just became my favorite seafood shack ! No need to drive to the North shore for great clams and lobster! I hope they provide outdoor seating in the summer.

Great Lobster Rolls! Full of fresh lobster meat on a toasted hot dog roll. Classic. I dont think they even use mayo. Delicious! Totally worth the $$

Not a wide selection of seafood, but what they have is top quality. Best place locally to find lobsters larger than 1.25 lbs.
