We came on a Thursday night after looking at the full menu online, unaware that less than half the menu was available in favor of pushing an over priced and underwhelming shrimp and wings buffet, from a tourist stand point. My husbands burger should have been medium, but was instead well done. And no full menu was available just to see prices- we got two soft drinks and a milk unaware that each one was $2.50 and we were both upcharged for fries, even though on the tiny available menu it seemed like only one of our meals should have been. Maybe if wed come in a night where we could see the entire menu and all prices, it might have been better, but we came to tonight and this was our experience. And based on this experience, we would not come back on future vacations.

Our first time here we tried the breakfast buffet. It was terrible and the interior appears to be falling apart. From the look of the dust on the walls and decorations, it doesnt look like they have a weekly cleaning schedule for the staff. We went back a few weeks ago at lunch time because our neighbor asked us to give them another chance and it was just okay. Doubt we would ever go back on our own. Owner was a bit too pushy. He kept asking if things were okay and made strange very forced jokes. We felt too embarrassed for him to say what we really thought. He was trying so hard to be friendly but it just seemed insincere and unnatural to us.

EVERYTHING MADE FROM SCRATCH no cans no boil in the bag food, prepping at noon chopping potatoes shocking oysters chef let me sample pork, he told of his specialties. .. Ill have to wait for March because they close for the winter. the pork was great the staff amazing, I was checking it out at noon but the didnt open till five, but the chief fixed pancakes for my grandson and all the staff sang happy birthday.. that was my first visit, today will be my 2nd visit breakfast with. the grinch. 30 or 36 items on the buffet and omelettes made fresh. great food, great friendliness.

Very homey, good old fashioned family run business. Everyone is extremely pleasant. Ive never used the Marinas services, but make sure you check out the on-premise Reluctant Navigator restuarant. Great, family-style food and a pretty good beer selection. Last time we went we had Heavy Seas and Harpoon on tap. Thursdays are "wing night" and Sundays serve up a mean brunch. Check it out! Highly recommend.
