Today’s my daughters 12th Birthday, all she wanted was to eat Japanese hibachi. We arrived with a party of 9. The lady at the desk took us to the table. My daughter and her friends sat down and the lady immediately started yelling at them to move down further. There was only one seat extra and it was BEHIND the chef/grill. Why in the world would anyone pay $20 for a hibachi dinner to sit BEHIND the entertainment?? I explained to her that it’s my daughter’s birthday and we do not want anyone in our party to sit BEHIND the grill. She continued to be rude and make a scene so I asked for the manager. Once again, we explained that we do not want anyone to sit behind the grill. She was just as pleasant as the server, demanding that we shift down ONE seat in case ONE person came in. We all got up to leave because of the way she was speaking to me. My husband even offered to pay for an extra meal so that no one in our party had to be behind the table/entertainment. The manager was so rude, she should be embarrassed to call herself a manager. As we were getting up to leave our waiter came over and asked what was wrong. We once again explained the situation and he pulled the last chair away and said please sit down it’s fine and not a problem. There was no line or people waiting for a table. There is absolutely no reason to treat your customers this way! It wasn’t like we had a party of 3 asking for our own table! We had 9 people! I really wanted to leave and take our business somewhere else but my daughters eyes started to well up with tears. I sucked it up for her considering our waiter was so kind to remedy the situation, I did tip well for his kindness. However, I’ll never eat here again after the way we were treated. After reading the other reviews it seems this place is in need of new management!! Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere else!

HORRIBLE!!!! First off let me start with this, the manager is useless and has a nasty attitude and she backs up the bartender. Came in last night, paid for my bill then I decided I wanted to something else. I wanted a brand new check and the bartender told me dont sign the first bill, I will adjust the bill instead. I asked again for a new bill to keep the payment consistent and she still is persistent in not giving me (as the customer) a new bill which is very shady to me. She rips up the bill I paid for and gives me a new bill with a new charge like I am being charged twice on top of what I added. The manager comes out and is very rude and backs the bartender up and when I called back to the restaurant, the manager tells me its not complicated like I am illiterate. I asked the manager to explain to me why was it so difficult to just give me a new bill and she says because we dont want customers to have more than one check. When I go to other restaurants, I have no issues with this and the server/bartender will just give me a new bill as it is just that simple. I look at my bank statement and it appears that whatever the adjustment the bartender says she did has not come through yet which is scary as I dont know what I will get hit with and if there is a fraudulent charge, I will notify my bank asap. This same bartender is very very very cheap with drink portions. I dont have any issues with other bar tenders here. The place is almost always empty so the bartender and the rude manager should be glad for the few that patronize this business. Also your staff at the door always give me a funny look when I come in. I have seen too many business close because of the bad service, good luck. I was a regular but I wont be coming back.

Sure, the hibatchi is fine, but the staff/management are rude and unprofessional. Im a 27 year old female and got carded at the bar for getting a drink. Sure, happens all the time, not a problem. The bartender then proceeded to inspect my ID for a good 5 minutes. Flexing it, staring at the front and the back. At the end of her scrutiny, she handed it back to me and says "This is fake". Obviously it was not. I received one of the new Maryland IDs issued in June so she was probably unfamiliar with it, however she just decided it was fake. If she thought I looked over the age of 21, she would have simply looked at the photo and the birthday and left it at that like any normal bartender. But no, it was like she wanted me to be underage because she really thought I was, so she just said the ID was fake to justify what she thought. I look young, ill give her that. But you know what, big deal. I dont have to drink. I could have left it at that and just been mildly annoyed. But then she started taking it around the bar to several other customers, asking them if they thought my ID was real. That was an incredibly embarrassing experience that was completely unprofessional and rude. Not only is it not up to anyone else to determine if my ID is fake or not, but to have people look at me like im some criminal child or something? That was not her place to carry my ID around the bar for people to scrutinize. I dont know those people. And now they have my address if they really wanted it, as well as other information. I offered to call the cops for them, they refused. I asked if they were able to scan the ID, they could not. So next time I go in there ill make sure to bring my birth certificate and my passport. Id advise others to do the same.

This used to be my favorite hibachi place in the area but after my dining experience the other day, I would rather travel some other place even if its further away. The waiter, KENNY, was noticeably impatient with my girlfriends and I. We planned this dinner at the dining/sushi area to catch up since we havent seen each other in months. However, we were met with an unattentive and hasty waiter. He wasnt friendly the least bit and kept on rushing us to order, to pay, and to even grab the tip once weve paid. Its obvious what theyre told to do which is to always keep tables open in the sushi bar area to accomodate incoming guests who do not want a hibachi show. Since the sushi area is a very small part of the restaurant, I assume they always want a few tables open and that means rushing those who are dining. Kenny would constantly hover us but surprisingly took a while to refill our waters. On top of being pressured to rush, Kenny had the audacity to get upset/frustrated at us when he couldnt understand how we wanted our check to be separated. We were basically forced to do it his way after angrily giving back our receipt and told us to just write down how much we wanted to be charged on each card and left us to do the math ourselves. So there we were sitting down trying to calculate the total with tax by ourselves when thats essentially what the machines/cashiers are for. It was a horrible service overall and its definitely quantity over quality of service at this establishment.
