I usually dont bake my own desserts for the holidays, since Im super busy with everything else. In the past I have ordered my desserts and treats from Desserts by Gerards in Oxon Hill for Thanksgiving and other events. Although they are quite talented, I dont particularly enjoy the taste, as Ive felt the desserts were more for visual speculation than actual flavor. I was searching for another company to help cater my holiday event when I stumbled across Tiffanys Bakery. They have good reviews and a detailed website so I stopped by and placed an order for a customized Yellow Cake with Buttercream frosting, Sweet Potato and Apple Crumb Pies. The venue is small in the front waiting area, but the shop is nicely accented with the bakerys products and offerings. I placed my order and although a bit expensive, I was very hopeful that the desserts would turn out and taste great. When I picked up my items a week later the venue was quite busy (as to be expected the day before a major holiday), but I was out the door w/my goodies in about 15 minutes. The four stars derive from the fact that I was initially given one total, but was later informed that they made a mistake on the price, which ended up being higher than originally quoted. Sooooooo my guests totally enjoyed all the desserts!!! I tried both the Sweet Potato Pie and the Yellow Cake....both were simply amazing!! Im not normally a dessert eater, but LAWD I have never had Yellow Cake so moist and full of flavor. It was so delicious with that buttery, homemade taste. Perfect! Sorry to the other bakeries because this is now my go-to spot. One can tell quality products and Tiffanys Bakery definitely doesnt skimp around. A++++ and highly recommend.

I went in here excited about all the good reviews but decided to leave and never return here. They ask you what youd like at the front and then disappear to the back for about 10 minutes before theyll even return. Then, the lady Yvette had THE NERVE to turn me away because shes "busy" with thanksgiving around the corner and doesnt have the time to accommodate how long it would take to give me a price on the cake that Id like. Terribleeeeeeeeee. Never again!

Horrible!!!!!!!! waiting all day for decorator to call me once she finally came to work because she was hours late!! She decides to goes on lunch after being told I was waiting to give my order preference and I need the cake in two days. I was told she will get on it when she gets back from lunch. What horrible proffesonalism. If u need unprofessional service this is the place!

I am an old tiffanys bakery love, but the cakes have changed they not the same taste I remember. I will no longer make the 45 minute drive for their products; they taste like sweet greasy breads too me now!
