I was here yesterday with my sister, brother-in-law, and niece. We arrived in separate cars, with my sister i arriving firsr, and immediately offered seating indoors, on the porch, or patio. We chose the patio, and a server brought us large glasses of water, and flatware wrapped in a large cloth napkin (not polyester, that always slides off your lap). When the rest of our party arrived, and we expressed interest in the buffet, we were given directions to the room. The spread was very generous with a mixed green salad and two kinds of dressing, sliced tomatoes and mozzarella cheese, drizzled with a light vinegarette, sliced beets and tomatoes, melon kabobs, as well as a carving table with sliced ham. Other offerings were plain scrambled eggs, and eggs scrambled with onions and peppers, bacon, sausages, and mac and cheese. Plain toast, French toast, as well as several desserts. Also offered were Bloody Mary, and Mimosas. Service was very good, with out server informing us that although the buffet ended at 2pm, the food would still be out for at least 20 minutes after that. The ambience was charming, although we didnt see much of it since we ate outside. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. Our wrought iron table was shaded by huge umbrellas. I highly recommend this large, but efficiently run establishment.

Extremely disappointed. Good as a pub, terrible as a restaurant. We have eaten here three times, each time simply hoping the last was a fluke and it would get better this time. Sadly, we were proven wrong. Service was definitely lacking, but aside from that, the food was just plain terrible. The Chesapeake Quesadillas were edible, but practically flavorless. The Baja Fish Tacos were not much better, but the worst by far was the "San Francisco" Cioppino. What a joke. Being from San Francisco, I know Cioppino and was very much looking forward to a taste of home. It was so awful, I couldnt even finish it. It was like someone poured a can of stewed tomatoes over a few pieces of overcooked seafood a lump of flavorless white rice, then threw in a very over crisped piece of bread as an afterthought. Im giving two stars rather than one because, as I said, the place is good as a pub. They have a good selection of craft beers and their cocktails are pretty decent as well (the Philly Pretzel Shot is definitely a keeper). I give them credit for trying. The menu looks like it could become a local favorite if they picked up a chef who actually knows how to cook and used quality ingredients.

EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE. NOT WORTH GOING. I have been here twice now and both times received very poor service even though the food is good. Last night there was a buy one get one special, so we expected it to be busy, but I didnt expect to get treated unfairly. We watched others arrive after us, but get seated before us even though not everyone had reservations. It took about 45 minutes to get seated. Once seated, it took about 10 minutes before a waitress approached our table and another 15 minutes for her to return with drinks. This is INEXCUSABLE. From the time we ordered it took 40 minutes to get our food. Way too long for a bar and grill. We watched two other tables get seated after us, get served, eat, get their checks and leave before we had any food on our table. PATHETIC. The dinner special was supposed to promote patronage, but we will never return and I discourage others from doing so as well. We got a good deal on the price, but the cost of extremely bad service does not justify the savings. We were there for 2 hours waiting and dining. Save yourself from a bad experience and DONT GO.

Freindly service, great atmosphere and best of all the food!! I ordered the Carne Asada and my wife had the Tuna and I cannot tell you how perfectly done these dishes were. Plated beautifully and balanced perfectly with the various accouterments that came with them. We also tried the chicken wings which were also perfectly cooked. Just the right amount of crispiness, juiciness and sauce. The staff is extremely professional and I was able to learn that the kitchen maintains a from-scratch approach to their dishes which are designed and created by their executive chef. It takes a lot for me to be impressed and even more for my wife to be, but I can honestly say that this place has a bright future. We will definitly be going back the next time we pass through...

[updated 12/2016] great beer menu, constantly rotating best craft beers around. Great local pub and restaurant in Chester Springs, PA. Liberty Union Bar & Grill has a decent menu with "State of the Week" specials that feature a different US State each week. Liberty Union has one of the best beer tap menus around, with 8-10 amazing craft beers on tap and rotate very frequently. Bar staff is very nice and service is good. I have also held many private events in the evenings which Steve, the owner, always does an excellent job of making our events run smoothly. Other local charities and groups hold events at Liberty as well.

The menu is great and offers a taste of what this nation has to offer. On top of that, they feature a state each week and highlight what they are known for. This week was Florida and they had gator! Place looks like vintage Americana with red, white and blue colored walls. Bar area is beautiful. Happy Hour had some really good deals.

Solid all around place for brunch, lunch, or dinner. Ive been here after church with the wife, and Ive been here with coworkers for happy hour. Decent beer selection, and interesting rotating menu items based on one of the 50 states. I do hear that the Friday night bar crowd is a "young" crowd - if you catch my drift.

Beer selection is great, food is ok. For the most part you will never have a empty glass at this place. The entire staff works together to make sure you will never wait for a beer. The only exception is the bald guy behind the bar, when he is there service is terrible. He will wash a glass rather then get you a beer.

I had brunch there today . It was very disappointing. At times the lids on the warmers were wide open, therefore the food inside was cold. The eggs benedict was made with thinly sliced ham and it was awful. The waffle was half cooked and was terrible. They really need to improve upon their brunch.

A good addition to the local area. Go for the tater-tots and stay for the staff and food. Ive heard it has a lively crowd in the evenings but Ive always missed it somehow! Try out their beer salad - its the only time Ive ever enjoyed beets :-)
