This place does not deserve one star! Drove 15 miles to have dinner ! 7/24/2017 at 8:30 PM, we walked in and waited to be seated no one came to the front so we decided to sit by the bar, the lady approaches and said, "we do not serve sushi at 8:30 because our employee is already over time and there is already a lot of customers. So we are not sitting customers anymore & making sushi." This is the first time that Ive experienced this at restaurant -kicking a customer out 30 minutes before they close because their employee is doing overtime. This is definitely unacceptable/inappropriate and poor business moral. This is the third time Ive had a bad experience at this restaurant, the first time was we waited 5 minutes for a drink. I will definitely not be back.

We have been to Okada many times. One of our favorite restaurants . Sunday we had a bad experience. The chef burned the eggs and still added them to the rice. The rice was burned and he put so much pepper in the rice that one person at the table had to tell him. He didnt seem to care. That person asked for no soy sauce on his mushrooms that he ordered and the chef did it anyway. He was a very entertaining person but not a good cook. He did go a little too far at some of the things he said in front of the children that he should not have. This was very disappointing as two of our guests were there for the first time. I am a big fan of coming here with a group or by myself to get some sushi. The hibachi grill offers an exciting dinner experience, but I would rather get a table. The food selection is what is be expected from a hibachi, but the sushi selection is where this place shines. Expert and colorful preparation makes it even better. Bring a large group or just a significant other for a romantic evening or some laughs.

There are a number of restaurants nearby that does hibachi grill and/or sushi. Okada does both and it does both better. The chefs are very skilled and great entertainers, the sushi never ceases to amaze me, and the atmosphere is stellar. Its pricier than other similar restaurants, but you know where that extra couple of bucks is going. Ive been here dozens of times and Ive NEVER left without a smile.

Having just moved from Okinawa, Okada was a pleasant delight for our authentic Asian quisine request. Not to spoil everyones interpretation of what Japanese Habachi is, but the Americanized version differs greatly. None the less, the food and service was great. Many thanks to Brian, our server, for the laughs and great food.

When we first started going there it was great,But the last few times;Has gotten me to find somewhere else to go;You dont get nearly the amount you used to:but still pay the same;we used to walk out of there stuffed and with half of ouf food in a to-go box;I had to order extra vegetables to actually get any!!

I came to Okada to eat some sushi and was very impressed. Their sushi menu is very large and, even though they seemed moderately busy, I received my food and drink shortly after sitting down and ordering. The food itself was excellent, and I plan on going back to try some other dishes.

The food is always delicious. Ive been coming here for several years and the quality of the food has always been excellent. The service has been very slow for the last several months, so I wouldnt expect to be in and out quickly unless youre just getting sushi.

I tell you, we gave the three times a charm rule...and all three times it was horrible..over priced and not near as good as Asahi...but we were fair and gave it more than one visit before giving it a bad review. From here on out Asahi will get our service..

Service was fine. The food on the other hand........I didnt sit at the grill, just ordered off the menu. Steak yakisoba tasted just like Ramen noodles. The sushi was sub par but priced far above its worth. Im disappointed it turned out this way.

The service here sucks! The waitress always takes forever and often forgets to bring things we ordered. The food however is awesome! The sushi is great. The chefs are good too, they just need to hire new waitresses.
