I tried this place because its relatively close to my job. The few times that I have gone the experience varied. The first time I went it was awesome. I got...the chicken and waffles of course. While you do get a full Belgium waffle, the amount of chicken is on the stingy side, but it was delicious. However, the second time I went my spouse came to have lunch with me and I suggested we go there. That day, the waffles seemed to be under cooked, a bit mushy as get got to the middle. We returned them and received new waffles that felt the same way. She was very dissappointed but I thought maybe it was just a bad day for the waffle iron. The third time I went, the waffle was perfect again, but the chicken was fried kind of hard, moreso than the times before. But, I still enjoyed it. The service, however, is always friendly and great and they are pretty quick preparing and serving your food. They seem to take a lot of phone orders so the girl at the counter did spend a lot of time on the phone but that is understandable.

The best fried chicken I have ever had. The sammies come with a HUGE filet of chicken...the skin was thin but crispy, the cajun/ spicy seasoning was out of this world. The spice is packed with so much flavor! Furthermore, I expected the meat to be dry, nope, SO FREAKING JUICY. But thats not it... The comeback sause adds an extra garlicky tang and the slaw gives the Sammie a crunch and counteracts the heaviness of the meat. The French fries were perfectly crispy, the mixture of peach tea and lemonade wasnt too sweet, and the white meat chicken breast was massive yet so juicy. I loved almost everything about this place. Except for the long wait (1.5 hours), the food and the service is absolutely incredible. Of all the restaurants Ive Yelped, this is definitely one of my favorites. Restaurant is small (5 tables) but clean and the service was excellent. We had both the original and red velvet waffles. They were hot, soft and delicious. The fried chicken was possibly the best Ive ever had. The pieces of breast meat were hot, juicy, throughly cooked and in a crunchy/crispy coating. The prices were very affordable. Worth the moderate walk from the ballpark area! We will definitely go back when we are in the area again! FYI - this location and the area in general is not wheelchair accessible. We couldnt take our nephew in a chair back. A stroller would also be difficult in this part of town.

ON MARCH 25, 2017 CHARM CITY WINGS & WAFFLES (CCW&W) CATERED MY 50TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION; THE FOOD HAS SINCE BEEN ONE OF THE MAJOR HIGHLIGHTS OF MY EVENT. PRE CELEBRATION MENU SELECTION AND PRICING WAS EXCELLENT, THE OWNER WENT WELL BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS!! THE CATERING TEAM WAS PROMPT AND VERY PROFESSIONAL AS WELLS AS ACCOMMODATING TO ME AND MY GUEST. MY EVENT WAS CATERED FOR 200 PEOPLE AND CCW&W NEVER MISSED A BEAT!!! I WANT TO THANK YOU GUYS FOR MAKING MY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION A TRUE SUCCESS; I LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH YOU IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE!!! THANKS AGAIN!!!

Awesome place. I had the Old Bay and lemon pepper wing platter. In the platter, the meat comes over yellow rice, with sides of broccoli, corn and potatoes. I also added a waffle to go with the chicken. I ATE IT ALL. Very good flavor and not overpowering. Come early on for the grits or call ahead to see if they still have. I would suggest this place to everybody.

definitely the best I have ever had. I am a fan of almost EVERYTHING they have. I cant say that I enjoyed the dinner I had. I will stick to breakfast. I do wish everyone wore head covers tho because I am very funny about weave...and stray hairs..I cant wait till they open up because Im waiting for a red velvet waffle now

Nice family run spot close to downtown and casino. Cozy but worth the wait for a table. We got chicken, waffles and eggs. The waffle was really good. Not crazy about the cheese eggs as they were over cooked. The chicken was well seasoned and crispy. The staff was friendly and served up plated to your table.

This is my favorite favorite favorite spot. The food, servings and service are phenomenal every time. I have never had a incorrect order and it had gotten to the point where the hostess knew what I want when I walked in the door. Since they started to deliver through Grubhub I am an even happier camper.

Got There At 10:30. But They Opened At 11 , So I Waited. Within 15 Minutes All 4 Of My Meals Were Done. Food Was Nice & Hot When I Arrived Home About 25-30 Minutes Later. Waffles Were Soft & The Margarine Was Ready To Go On The Waffle Already Melted ! Food Was Excellent. Go Try It Out! 4 Meals For $38.

My husband and I were in Baltimore and he found this restaurant.. I normally dont eat all my food I ordered the 3pc chicken nd waffle.. needless to say it was delicious!!! Very clean and a warm feeling..... when we come to the city again Im sure we will be back!

Generally, chicken and waffles arent the first food combination you think of, but this place makes it work! It is in the heart of Baltimore, and the food is great. The service is also quite superb, but there might be a wait as there are only six tables.
