"Delicious fresh sushi, decent saki selection, and small details like excellent hot tea and homemade dashi (make sure you try the mushroom soup) take this place a cut above your average sushi joint." My previous review is in quotations.... This is to have zero reflection on Brooke (my attentive server), or any other staff member, but the terribly rude woman (apparent owner) Judy. I know you (Judy) will still get my money when I come in, and that bothers me...But not as much as to think of how much your terrible attitude, that flys in the face of hospitality and customer service, costs your excellent and hard-working staff. I wont be so petty as to detail your many failings as a food service proprietor Judy, but let it be known, if you had a tenth of the skill and refinement of your staff, maybe youd see you are better suited to seemingly anything else. Yet another congratulations to Brooke and staff, for preforming admirably in the face of whatever it is Judy offers.

Soup like frog-spawn: For hot-and-sour soup, this restaurant used to be one of the best. But, yesterday, when it was served, the soup was so thick, its clear fronds slimed off the spoon. It was goupy, but still clear, and nearly lumpy. After a couple of years of good soup that we enjoyed, this was a real disappointment. But it’s not why we’re giving this a low rating. That comes from how the management handled this failure. After I returned the large bowl, did a manager show any interest or concern? No. Did I need to pay for a replacement starter—that therefore arrived far too late? Yes. Was the price of the soup removed from the bill? No—not until I refused to pay for it. So, the bad performance of the kitchen is compounded by awful handling of the problem.

Wed 12/4/2013: Walked in, sat at the bar and spent the next 10 to 15 minutes not getting any service. I had just eaten there two days before and liked it so I returned. I had one server walk by and say Hi! But that was it. Three persons went behind the bar at one time or another but made no offer to provide a drink or provide a menu. So I got up to leave and as I was walking out made the comment that there was no service and the manager and hostess just looked at me and smiled. No effort to apologize or try to make me stay. I guess they have lots of clientele and dont need somebody like me to stop by, eat and leave a 20% tip like the time before. I have a feeling this place will slowly "die off" with this kind of service.

Let me start by saying i love sushi and have made it my duty to eat at each and every sushi restaurant in harford, Cecil, and baltimore county to name a few. Naturally when i heard of the owning of this spot i was sooooo ecstatic. Unfortunately i hate to but have to say with all honesty each of my four dine in and carry out experiences have solidified my stance on it being the worst and my last choice place for Japanese cuisine. Service is unrediculously slow even on occasions where no one else is there. On my dine in experiences food orders were wrong multiple times and had to be sent back still to return wrong. I hate to say it but i Hate this place.

I had habachi shrimp with panang sauce. My husband had a lamb entree that had onions and rice. We were very pleased with our meal and the service. But the upcharge for brown rice is $2. Its usually $1. It would have been ok, but they dont give you enough rice for the meal so we had to pay an additional $2 for another rice. Our son had chicken teriyaki from the kids menu. He enjoyed it. But it wasnt enough so he orders chicken tenders and fries. I will say dont order that. The chicken wasnt good. We will definitely go back.

Overall the quality is meh. The sushi and the food are actually ok. But the customer service sucks. The hostesses at front who answers the phone and take "to-go" orders are so dumb they can barely function. When you get to the counter, you can actually see how the simple tasks of asking your name, seating you, or handing you your order takes so much toll out of their brain power. They always make mistakes with your order, and they forget proper utensils so you always have to check.

The eggplant dish was just about great. They just put too much sugar in its sauce. 50% less would make it a fantastic dish. Good eggplant is very hard to find whether Chinese, Italian or not. The shitake soup was also fantastic. Superb broth. Just not enough mushrooms. So, for a dollar more to get more shrooms, excellent! Chicken lettuce wrap very good....colder crispier lettuce would make is as good as PFs. Ill be back.

My hubby had been wanting to try this place since its right next to Wegmans where we do our grocery shopping. We gave it a try last night for take out and werent blown away. You dont get very much food for what you pay for, especially rice. The food reminded me of PF Changs, not bad but nothing to write home about. I am glad we tried it, but we will be returning to our normal Chinese eat in take out place from now on.

My company ordered sushi, and very much enjoyed their meal. I ordered tuna rolls, and the tuna arrived grey in color. I had to refuse the dish...and Ive never done that before. The manager came to the tabe and apologized, and said the tuna was delivered "only 2 days ago." That tells me that they are serving some pretty well-aged fish. Perhaps Im wrong.

This place makes outstanding lobster tempura rolls, the Chilean sea bass with honey miso is tasty, every time weve been there the wait staff was always friendly and courteous, but it can be busy especially for dinner...bartender sometimes are not consistent with cocktails...would very much recommend this place to family and friends.

I just had an early Sunday afternoon lunch at Lemon N Ginger. The food was very good and delivered in a timely manner. The service was fine, even though the staff was attending to a large group of people at the same time we were there. This is a very nice restaurant and it is definitely worth a visit. Ill be back.

This place is over hyped. There are many better sushi places around. The noodles were greasy. Way over priced for what they serve. Only upside qas the egg rolls, which were too small anyway. Do yourself a favor and go to fuji sushi, or chopstix, or oriental resturant on main street.

Overpriced, generic, bland. The décor makes it look like a step above ordinary Chinese restaurants, but youll have better food at a cheap carry-out joint, at a third of the cost. Maybe Im spoiled because I lived in SF Bay area for many years, but this place really let me down!

I always order carryout. There has always been a short wait even though no one was waiting in front of me. The food is awesome Atleast the peppersteak with green Epperson and onions ( 1x was too peppery. Shrimp tempura is good, spring rolls good.
