Yesssssssssss. Sandwiches in Monument Square? Check. On a good budget? Check. Made by ladies in bandanas and french braids? Check. There was a line out the door when I got there but it moved really quick. I will be going back to try more sandwiches because my first taste gave me a hankering for more. My first visit involved me being completely unable to decide on which sandwich to order. I narrowed it to three options and when it was my turn to order, I blurted out the first one to come to mind. I couldnt have been happier to end up with the ambrosia sandwich. It was so good. Chicken, cucumber, tomato, roasted red pepper, spinach and hummus combined for the perfect bite. I think the bread is the star of the meal. It reminded me of a cross between pita and foccacia. It was thin and covered with herbs and spices. The sandwiches are huge, the decor and staff are friendly and inviting. I highly recommend stopping in Monument Square for lunch because you wont regret it.

This sandwich shop is super yummy, has reasonable prices and the staff is very friendly. HOWEVER I am writing this review because of the music I heard on my first visit. I was in there for five minutes waiting for my order and heard enough bad language to put me in a bad mood for the rest of the day. I would not bring kids in there simply because of the constant f bombs and other cuss language I kept hearing. I am not a concerned parent, simply a 20 year old who does not like explicit music. Again, it was not just one cuss word here and there it was constant. And the staff was jamming out. Again, clean music would be ideal. No one wants to hear swears while they want to enjoy lunch.

Ive been saying for years that a super good quality sandwich shop was needed in Portland and Sisters just took the reigns and ran with it. Its bar none the best deli sandwich shop in town. Nobody holds a candle to them. The atmosphere is as refreshing as the food and everything is clean. The food is made fast (like 5-6 min), its beyond delicious and the service is amazing! Pretty girls with even prettier personalities, who serve pretty food that tastes wonderful and all for a reasonable price. This place is the jam.

I just went to Sisters for the first time with my co-worker for lunch, I only get 30 minutes for lunch. My sandwich was ready in five minutes, the workers were pleasant and very polite. The sandwich I got was amazing, one of the best sandwiches in Portland, possibly the best, their bread is so good and fresh, and the flavors were mouth watering. Also the outside seating in Monument Square is perfect!

I just ordered the "Shore" wrap which comes with fresh, baked (never frozen as they mention) Salmon and assorted veggies. The service is great and extremely friendly! There are window stools for people to sit and other seating along the side wall. A good sandwich place will always do well, especially in the heart of Monument Square. I look forward to my next sandwich!

Michaela opened this store a year ago. She has not only garnered local awards but has put herself ahead of the competition with passion, pride, and love (for food and staff). I recommend the Two Little Pigs but be adventurous, its what Michaela does!!!
