The service at Café Phoenicia was very, very poor and the food mediocre. We did not receive our food for over an hour after receiving our salads. In that time our drinks were not refreshed and the waitress made no effort to check on us. Finally, we hunted the waitress down and asked about our order. At first we were told that they were so busy that the kitchen was backed up, later we were told that our order had been lost (I guess it was lost after we got our salad). It was obvious that my chicken and gyro had been drying out under a heat lamp, because it had the texture of leather. Apologies were made, but even after the apologies we had to ask for pita bread to eat our gyro with and request our drinks be refilled. I have been eating at Café Phoenicia for years, but will not do so in the future.

I stopped in to pick up some quick desserts and with a name like Cafe Phoenicia I was really expecting like a case with the desserts in it quick in, quick out. I was BLOWN away by the magnitude of this place. It is simply amazing. I was greeted at the door by the most lovely Greek woman I have ever met, she took my order. She gave me a to go menu and looked it over and had several questions because Im an Irish girl so it was all Greek to me. She answered every one of them, showed me pictures of the dishes, and was incredibly helpful. If I had to sum up my experience in 2 words: Simply Amazing.

I went on a Sunday afternoon. The main dishes were excellent. I had the Beef kabob and my son the sampler. Again... excellent. So why the bad rating? 1. The table next to us had been used and wasnt cleared for the ENTIRE time of our meal (about an hour). 2. I got the baklava for desert/ Having served in the Mid-East I know what good baklava should tate and be, and theirs wasnt it. Th filo pastry was so tough that it couldnt be cut with a spoon nor bitten through. The nut mixture tasted rancid. For me (as I was looking forward to the desert) that ruined the whole experience.

My wife and I have dined at the Zachary outlet many, many times. This is our favorite place to eat. We have never ever had a bad meal. The food is great and the service is super. Oh yea, if you like calamari, this is your place. They have it down pat. Enjoy. I am planning on picking up a take-out dinner for my wifes birthday tonight as a matter of fact since we are baby sitting. Keep that in mind too.

Love this place. I dont live close to this location but I work one day a week by it and it is my special treat for the week. I get the lunch special of shrimp kabobs and exchange the rice for hummus. Their hummus is one of the best tasting I have had. It also comes with the best flavored vegetables. So its a complete meal. A must try!

If you are looking for fabulous Greek-Lebanese food, look no further than Cafe Phonecia! I love their sampler and their Stuffed Grape Leaves are the best in the entire area. All of the food is prepared fresh and it shows in the quality & the taste. Highly recommend that you try it. Delicious!

Great server, Brooke. Yummy hummus, pita fresh and soft. Fried eggplant on appetizer sampler was too greasy and tough in the middle. Beautiful presentation. Lobster soup the bomb. Tiramasu with coffee, scrumptious. Cafe Phonecia is consistently great food and atmosphere!

WOW!! This is by far the best Greek restaurant Ive ever eaten at!! The Chicken Shawarma is out of this world, its that delicious!! Definitely a 5 star rating from me!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant. And Im so glad its here in Denham Springs now!!

Best Lebanese in town. .. only Lebanese in town but it is good! Great fried cheese which is more like sautéed cheese. If you are unsure get the sampler, I eat it every time. If you like tea try the Lebanese tea.

This chain is hit or miss depending on the location and time of day. When they are off then everything seems to be dry. Otherwise everything is good for a standard Americanized Greek/Lebanese restaurant.
