This place is amazing! Best Thai food Ive tried in the Northshore area. The Tom Kha Gai soup is the best... so creamy and delicious! Other places Ive tried it at, are a little too sour for my taste. But at Thai Orchid, its the perfect combination. I also really love the fresh spring roll here... the peanut sauce with little dabs of hot sauce adds the right amount of kick. The Pad Woodsen is really yummy too, we had it with beef. Ive been here a handful of times, and the staff is always nice. I love the decor as well, very authentic feel. The price is great too! My favorite restaurant in Slidell, hands down! :)

Every time I eat here, I am never disappointed. Panang curry is my favorite dish, however the chicken Pad Thai my husband orders is great. The service is the restaurant is great! They are super friendly and attentive. I order take out from here as well, its been my experience with other restaurants that their take out just isnt as good as the dine-in, but not in the case of the Thai Orchid. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Slidell, I really think they deserve more business.

Food was delicious and our server was so polite and attentive. Was referred by a nurse at the childrens hospital when my daughter was hospitalized. Finally decided to check it out and will definitely be going back. What a little diamond in the rough!!! Husband and I shared the pineapple fried rice and an order of chicken pad Thai. We took home enough for another entire meal. Prices are great, portions are huge.

We came from Houston to New Orleans and were searching for a good restaurant. This restaurant had great food and the price was not too high!! We had fried rice and they gave us soup as starters and orange fruit at the end, both of them which were totally unexpected!! I would recommend anyone who likes to have thai food in this restaurant!!

First customer at 5PM, so service immediate. Said new ownership ~March 1, 2012 so we need all new posts. Every Thai place seems different and this held true here. Flavors interesting and presentation pleasing. The shrimp in our dishes were perfect. Served orange slices with bill...nice touch. No alcohol drinks may be drawback.

Horrible experience. Waited for drink order to be taken. Waited for drinks, appetizer and food. My husband and daughter got their food about 15 minutes before mine came out. I only ordered noodles with vegetables. By the time it came out, I had lost my taste for it. Not going back to dine in.

The lunch portions are just enough that you really dont have a lot to take home the curry is really good it could use a little more flavor in it but the staff is very friendly and its a nice quiet place to have lunch or dinner

Very good. Good service, clean environment. All good during our visit except for the two people at the table next to ours.....they couldnt be quiet for even a second. Talked while they are! Restaurant was very good though.

I stopped here with friends on a whim when we were in the area for a conference. We werent expecting it to be some of the best Thai food that we have ever had. We shared several dishes and they were all delicious.
