Good beignets, mediocre sandwiches, poor service. Came in at peak time (10am) on a Sunday, so didnt expect anything quick. But several guest came in well after us, and got their orders well before us. Food was ready and eaten before we even got coffee. While one waitress seemed to only be taking and bringing orders, our waitress (who was clearly very new) was taking orders, making coffee, bringing orders, and running the cash register. Clearly, theres poor management going on if thy cant realize a new waitress might need some help and shouldnt be doing more than the seasoned waitress. I will say that the beignets were excellent. Beyond that, youre looking at $5 for eggs and bacon on toast. Better to just stick to the beignets. The place is very small and poorly air conditioned. Next time Ill just get beignets to go and get food and coffee elsewhere.

Like so many others, we tried this restaurant because the lines to the other Beignet places in New Orleans were way too long. We walked in, sat down and were waited on immediately. Ive never had a glazed beignet, but after having one here, Im not sure I can have regular ordinary beignets again. They nearly melted in your mouth and had just the right amount of glaze. We tried the lemon, caramel and banana and all were amazing. Give this place a shot. You will not be disappointed! We will probably pick up several to take back to Memphis with us.

My wife and I were passing through Slidell and stopped on a Wednesday morning about 9:00. We were a little apprehensive at first because the place was empty. We got an order of beignets (3) with banana glaze and cafe au lait. Both were fabulous. I highly recommend this place. I would suggest to them that they have a "sampler" beignet plate that allowed the customer to order 3 flavors of glaze, one per beignet. I would have loved to try the other flavors and it would be a very minimal addition to the menu.

As an old, retired Army Officer, I was pleased that the dining facility was clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. The food (beignet, decaf coffee and bacon) was hot and on the table in less than five or seven minutes. The parking was right at the front door. Being retired military people, we ate for FREE, yes, completely FOR FREE. Our meal was paid for by prior donations of customers who just wanted to say thanks. Now thats what I call paying ahead. Well be back. Highly recommended.

Beignets Au Lait, one of the best experiences in New Orleans /Slidell area, the breakfast was PHENOMENAL!!! My husband had the 2 eggs with bacon grits and a biscuit.. I had the Bacon Egg Cheese on toast.... everything was fresh and plenty of it... The Beignets... I had the Banana Glaze... wonderful... hubby had the regular powdered, just as wonderful... Do not miss this experience if you are in this area... We will be coming back!!!

Terrible customer service!!!!!!!!! I arrived before 1:00 today and was greeted with essentially a snarl by a female employee. I asked her if she was about to close. She told me I could only order beignets to go because the shop was closing "in 15 minutes." The hours posted showed it was open until 1:30. I ordered beignets and took them to PJ coffee to enjoy then with delicious fresh roasted cafe au lait!

Very cute place and the beignets were delicious! I really like that they have a "Wall of Fame" and colors/markers ready for you to put messages up for public viewing. Another thing they do differently....instead of the traditional powdered sugar on the beignets, you can get them GLAZED with CARAMEL or WEDDING CAKE...O_o Guess what Im getting next time?!? Worth the trip!

My family and i had breakfast. And being from new orleans didnt expect the beignets to be that good. But they were fantastic. We also had bacon that was fried to perfection. The service was good and they even allowed my baby girl to sit at a table by herself where she could see the tv. Cant wait to return next weekend.

We came in as a group, filled the entire seating area. Waitress was super with the rush, patient (we were mostly young energetic loud children under the age of 15). The beignets were fantastic and in my opinion, as good or better than if we would have made the trip to New Orleans. Will visit this place again!

We missed our chance to try beignets in New Orleans due to huge lines but was still wanting to try them. We found this place and we were pleasantly surprised. We tried two different flavors and they were both excellent and so delicious I cant imagine them being any better anywhere else!

The beignet was amazing, hot, freshly made. I cant wait to return. The place is a bit small inside, but maybe that is on purpose to mimic a quick stop in for coffee and a snack. Im from Texas and was visiting family in Slidell, and I would definitely stop by here again.

Exceptional, Ive never enjoyed a Beignet prior to today, if I lived here this is the only place I would come to. Probably yhthee highlight of my Trip to the New Orleans area. Cant give it more then five stars, but if I could, i would give it 10.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I loooove this place. I come here every time I come to Louisiana. This time my husband and I came to Louisiana just to come here! The owner is soooo sweet, and the cashier/waitress is adorable. This place is a hidden treasure, and highly recommended.

Very tasty begets. Made fresh, no examples if unfamiliar with begets. Didnt get chance to try them in french quarter. Nice staff. Store set up very simple. Road Entrance hazardous to access.
