This is a very nice store; only a couple years old and maintained in excellent condition. I currently do about 70% of my shopping here. The only problem I have with them is the Produce. They keep about half of their produce stocked at 34 deg.f. ... almost frozen. When you get it home and put it in the fridge (at a typical temp of 46 deg. F, it defrosts and start to go bad within the day). So, if you dont plan on eating it the same day as purchase, youll probably have to throw it out within a day or two. What a waste. It now means we but groceries and then have to go to a produce stand for our produce. Soon Walmart will be opening a Neighborhood Store, and if the produce is not almost frozen there, will be changing stores. What a shame. Ive been complaining to Rouses about this for 3 years; they dont seem to care.

Nice new looking store with hot and cold food choices and what seemed to be an endless selection of Cajun staples and meats. They had a cooler filled with already cooked crawfish right outside the entrance at good prices per pound. Lots of choices for wine and cheeses. Its a combination of an Italian and Cajun market all in one.

A Louisiana owned supermarket in Mandeville that is one of several Rouses supermarkets in the area. We have lots of supermarket choices in the Mandeville/Covington area, and Rouses and Walmart Neighborhood Market are my two favorites. Theres a good selection of both food and spirits, and the prices are reasonable.

Sucked no help after asking 3 employee finally the good manager dropped everything he was doing and came help me in the floral department thats sad we spend more money at Rouses then we should have a blessed day. Lets get it together go Tigers

I like shopping with a local business. The prices are higher on some items than youd see at other places, but Ill gladly shop here to avoid the annoyances of shopping at the "big W" were all use to.

Always a nice place to shop not always the lowest prices but thats okay you could you go to a store that has the lowest prices and the lines are very long and the people dont seem to be as nice

Rouses has some interesting things that other stores dont have as well as the regular stuff you need. The lettuce we get here lasts about 3 times longer than it does if we get it at Walmart.

Clean, friendly, and decently priced grocery. Great meat and seafood selection, large wine and liquor choices and helpful staff. Easily my choice for weekly shopping.

This is a great grocery for what it is. I was pleasantly surprised. Most local type stores dont have the selection Rouses has. Great boiled seafood too.
