My family has frequently visited this fast food restaurant in order to feed our extended family... usually on Sundays after church. We generally order the thirty piece chicken tender meal with three sides. We always request chipotle, barbecue and honey mustard dipping sauce as our eight member family each have their own preferences. Today we placed our order as regularly, and we asked for the dipping sauces where we were given two of each of the three aforementioned sauces. My wife asked for more sauces explaining that we dont even have enough for each person in our family to have their own sauce; and we were told that we can only have six sauces. It is important to note that these sauces are quite small ... large enough for only two tenders at most. I proceeded to ask the employee to please give us more sauces as we have a large family, and he told me that I would have to purchase them separately... after having already paid $42 for the meal. I told the employee thanks and we will not be back, and I never intend to. What kind of management tells employees to only give a maximum of six sauces for a thirty piece chicken tender diner which will easily feed ten or more people. I visited this location in a good mood ready to enjoy my Sunday afternoon with food and family, and I left quite frustrated.

Ive seen a lot of high ratings but honestly the food isnt that great but it is okay. Their chicken is comparable to churches chicken but you get more flexibility in the pieces you order here unlike every other place. As far as the others... Rolls are okay. Biscuits pale in comparison to all the other chicken places in the area. Corn is always overcooked and flavorless from being boiled to long and mashed potatoes are okay with white country gravy. If thats your thing you may like it. Its not mine; its very bland. They offer catfish I guess but it wasnt flavorful the one time I had it and was kinda old. Kudos for offering it though. We have a severe lack of choice in seafood around here. All in all they are better than Zaxbys for a chicken fix due to decent flavor and better meat than Zaxbys uses. I cant r help but wish Popeyes or Southern Classic would move in.

This was only my second time coming to this restaurant. My first experience was great except for the sweet tea tasting bad. But Im pretty sure its just the water from bossier that made it taste bad. But today my experience sucked. After getting my food, I drove all the way back to work and opened my box to no fork for the macaroni and cheese that I ordered and no napkins. On top of that, my macaroni and cheese was COLD. Like they didnt even bother to heat it up they just grabbed it out of the refrigerator. Thats how cold it was. Im very disappointed. Im not saying I wont be back but the employees need to step it up. Nobody wants to eat cold macaroni!

This chicken is excellent. Rolls are buttery and fluffy, the fries are great and so is the white gravy. Lots of delicious side items as well. Speedy service most of the time as well. General cleanliness around the restaurant could be better. No napkins to be found near the drink station during todays visit. No paper towels in the bathroom of a fried chicken joint should be an arrestable offense, although they did have a powerful air dryer. Youll pay a premium to eat at this location, and if you are going home with your meal you are getting the best value. Dont eat in the restaurant unless you like greasy fingers!

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. And heres why: on Saturday evening, I went to get some chicken for my grandkids and daughter. I spent almost $30.00. The only thing good things were: 1) the people who waited on me were very courteous. 2) the okra and 3) the sweet tea. Everything else was absolutely horrible. The chicken strips were totally dried out as were the biscuits and mashed potatoes. It was really like throwing $27.00+ dollars out of the window. I live on a very low fixed income. Next time I come visit my family here in Louisiana, I will surely not waste my money here again.

Usually we go through the drive thru. Love that it is so convenient but will not go back again. It really isnt all that great and it just keeps getting worse. The mac and cheese is too mushy. The sweet tea is like drinking straight sugar. The corn is way too wet. One bite and water is pouring down your chin. No flavor either. The mashed potatoes are thick and dry. The chicken is usually better but this last time it was way too dry and greasy no one ate more than a few bites. The fries were not crispy at all. We were in the drive thru about 25-30 minutes only to be disappointed.

When ordering we were told it would be 15 minutes for chicken to cook, and they were out of rolls, yet when we got to the window it was ready. When we opened the box the chicken was pink and not cooked, the gravy and fries were blah no season. The okra, un-sweet tea, biscuits were all good. Sad .....register 3....412....Dr-T#393....7:20pm.....30062......$21.74......I wish you could send this to central office because the manager at this location doesnt seem to care...........

Went up to my local Chicken Express today, and have never been treated so rudely at any fast food establishment anywhere. When I asked a question about drinks, I was informed it was on the menu board. When handing this obnoxious person my money, she threw the change into my car, and it went on the ground instead. Food here is good, you just need some people in here who give a damn about the customer.

So after being a caniac for so long and eating many of the fried chains that exist in Louisiana including souther classic I gotta say this one actually tops my list especially with that white gravy and biscuits that are truly homemade! So many times Ive seen restaurants fail at white gravy and this place is spot on plus lets not forget they have their sweet tea spot on!!!

As usual, Chicken Express delivers great food! The people who work there actually seem to care, which makes the whole experience a standard and a hell of a step above 99% of the fast food chains/restaurants in Bossier City. Great place to get chicken from, and i personally think it beats Canes out by a landslide.

This was a clean place, waittor was friendly. Placed our order then they were out of the side we wanted so got another. Then there was not enough chicken to make a three piece dark so we had to get a breast (which he doesnt like). The chicken and service was really good just a Lil unorganized.

Hands down the best chicken weve ever had! I had the tenders and mashed potatoes and my wife had a breast and a leg with fries. The staff was very friendly and helped us out since it was our first time there. We are definitely going back.
