I can only speak about my experience, The lady was very rude and nasty to me when I asked a question about the menu items, she muttered something about being busy and walked away while I was still speaking to her, It use to be a nice place but now all they seem to care about is taking your money and they nickle and dime you to death and charge you for every little thing, they charge for things that normally would be included with a meal at any other place, well enough is enough. My money is good anywhere and Baton Rouge is full of nice places to eat so I know I dont have to take rudeness, Ill never go back there again and frankly I wont even miss the place.

Awesomely friendly staff. I went for breakfast and had the Zeeland Slam which comes with a short stack, 2 eggs, grits or hash browns, and choice of meat for $9 bucks!! The cheese grits were also great not too runny, thick, or grainy PERFECT!! Great portions and quality food in record time at reasonable prices!! The aroma of lunch brewing invites you to come back!! My family from Wisconsin are coming down and I will be bringing them for breakfast and lunch!!

This is a great little neighborhood restaurant. They have daily lunch specials like mamas meatloaf and most of the time they come with veggies, salad and a roll. They also have pancakes in the morning. Not very vegetarian or health nut friendly, but great home style cooking. You can shop for wine while you wait. The place is packed for lunch, and kind of loud, they call out your name when the food is ready. Locally owned, and a neighborhood

I cannot wait to come back! I went in for the first time today with my family, and I was so pleased with this place! The food was outstanding and reasonably priced. Three of us ordered big breakfasts, and the total was about $10 each! There was no wait, and the owner herself made sure to come say hello and get to know us. Zeeland Street is a must stop if youre craving breakfast or could southern home cooking. Super friendly, down to earth staff. Quick service at a great price. Love the porch swing style seating throughout. Mouth-watering daily specials, and hash browns that can rival Louies if you load em up. Dont miss out of Zeeland.

Home-cooked breakfast and lunch spot in a great location. The breakfast bacon omelet has all the bacon. The lunch plates come with a variety of delicious country sides. Last time I went there was a long list of vegetable sides to choose from for any vegetarians. Delicious, homey, casual, and friendly!

The new hipster update really ruins the mom and pop vibe it used to have. Very very small portions for the price. I paid $4.50 for the tiniest breakfast biscuit sandwich with a biscuit that shouldnt have been sent out. The biscuit was flat and hard and nasty. Disappointed. :(

Its so nice to stop by the friendly neighborhood cafeteria style restaurant and get a home cooked southern style meal. The food is amazing. Cooked with love. Plenty of healthy options. Your stomach will be happy guaranteed ;)
