DO NOT EAT HERE. Food is terrible, staff is friendly, but owners are jerks and so is the door man. I attempted to place a carry out order from the Granville Inn this evening. The owner answered and after asking me to hold left the phone on the bar for 20+ minutes. I finally walked down the block to place my order in person, while still on hold. The bouncer very nearly wouldnt let me in, despite my explaining that I was there for carry-out food. The owner seemed annoyed that I would come down to point out the problem and I received no apology for the inconvenience from him or any staff. I was told my order would be rushed but it ended up taking 30+ minutes. No apology was offered for the wait, either. I will never spend another dollar in this restaurant and encourage hungry patrons to try out Schellers market on 3rd and Magnolia, which features many similar items to the Granville for less money. Louisville expects better from our independent restaurants, Granville Inn, and well show you by how we spend our money.

My experiences at the Granville Inn always have been wonderful and memorable. We have been coming to the Granville Inn for over 20 years. The atmosphere, food, drinks, and sports all come together to create a UofL/Old Louisville experience you would not want to miss. If your in town for a game or you live in Louisville, make it a point to visit the Granville!! The burgers are phenomenal. My personal favorite is the Tijuana Burger. However they are all delicious, as well as the rest of the menu!! Marty, the owner always makes the customers feel welcome..Jessica, one the bartenders, will take care of all your needs, and Tony, the kitchen manager makes sure everything leaving the kitchen is of the highest quality. There is no place in town better than the Granville to enjoy a UofL football or basketball game!! The place goes crazy. Along with that, there will always be sports on for you to enjoy. Great place, great food, great people!! Make sure you visit the Granville!!

My husband and I have been regulars at the Granny for quite a while. We went there this evening and were treated rudely by the owner. From the other reviews Ive read, this seems to be a trend. We got there at 7:00PM, and there were 3 other people in the entire place. There were six of us in our group, with one person being under 21. He told the waitress that he just wanted to eat, and the owner shouted loudly for everyone to hear that no one could be in his bar that was under 21. I understand the policy, but our friend was treated with complete disrespect and he was obviously embarrassed. When we went 2 weeks ago, our group was ordering pitchers of LITs for $16.95 a piece. When my friend asked for a pitcher tonight, the owner quickly shut him down and said "absolutely not". Overall, I have never had a worse experience in a bar and we will not ever be seen in the Granville Inn again.

WTF. Just went here for lunch today. Waited 35 minutes for a salad that didnt taste all that great and then I get home and check my bank account and they decided to add on a couple extra dollars to my bill!!! I guess they didnt like the fact that I gave them the horrible tip they deserved and they just took the initiative to tack some more money on. Wow.

The food was good. Chicken slightly tough but flavoring was in point. Note that Tuesday night is trivia so dont go on a Tuesday if you dont want to deal with a lot of loud music and noise. I would highly recommend the cajun chicken sandwich. Service is much better here than it is at the old louisville Tavern and the burger boy.

Decent little college bar, Close to UofL campus. I like the jukebox and the pool table in the back. Has pretty bomb diggity LIT (Long Island Ice Teas). Has food sometimes during the day but I only really visited it at night. They were cool enough to let me order pizza to the bar.

Great service!! Lots of tvs with sports on them. Food is plentiful and delicious. For the price it cant be beat, almost everything on the menu is made in house including sauces and dressings. One of the reasons I continue to support a great local business.

This place should be on "Triple D" (Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. The owner is very cool people and extremely involved with making the visit worthwhile. Great place to just chill and have a great burger in the neighborhood.

The food amazing..... the service.... No! I could have walked back to the kitchen, killed the chicken, and made the pizza myself faster than this "restaurant" could... Holy crap 2 hour wait for 12 wings and a large pizza!

Went for lunch. Took about 15-20 minutes for sandwiches, but seemed fresh so thats okay. Pretty good food. Have wings I want to try. Fairly empty. Most the business seems to be from 8 pm - 2am when it is always packed.

Solid place. Somewhere between a dive and a sports bar. The food is actually quite good and they usually have good selection of beers on tap. I recommend the Bambino burger.
