A few weeks ago I went to the campus Pub for the first and last time not very busy at all I walked all the employees standing at the bar I had to wave to get their attention once I got their attention a waiter came over and asked me if I wanted something to eat I told him first I would like to see a menu didnt even ask if I wanted something to drink so he went and got me a menu bring it to me he asked me if I needed a minute to look at the menu I said yes so he comes back about 5 minutes ask me if I have decided what I wanted I said yes I would like to start out with the banana peppers bad choice then for my main entree I ordered a cheeseburger and fries another bad choice the worst food and I do repeat the worst that I ever put in my mouth oh yes he did ask me if I would like something to drink after he gave me my food my main entree that is a few minutes after he brings me my food I had to wave him down again to ask for my bill he gets my bill brings it to me takes my plates didnt even ask me if I wanted a togo box which I did not want one anyways hopefully he threw it in the trash that would been the best place for it it was not fit to eat none of it it was the worst food that I ever put in my mouth now that was my experience at the campus Pub will not be back

I went in a little early, was trying to fight the boredom of the day. 11:30, thought I would see what its about. The bad reviews seem to be from the few who had a poor experience (which anywhere you go will have a few of those people.) The service was prompt, the atmosphere relaxed, everything looked clean, the bartender and cook were very pleasant, and I enjoyed the food. The shrimp platter was under $10, being from Florida I didnt expect it to be fantastic....it did surprise me. It wasnt tough and you could taste the shrimp. The batter was good, but what really set it apart was a very unique kick to the cocktail sauce. I came out under $15 for a beer and a meal of perfect proportion. I suggest at least giving it a try. For $15 its worth finding out what you think, not going by what a few bad reviews say.

So we went during burger Week, and they werent THAT busy, but nobody seated us, so I had to go to the bartender. We ordered right away as we knew what we wanted, food took 45 minutes. Yes its burger Week, but they were not that busy. No other restaurant we visited took that long. Also it wasnt tasty, not much beer cheese, burger was almost well done, if it wasnt so cheap I wouldve totally said something. The wait is what killed us....

The staff is great but the owner was there and is a huge prick. I didnt mind this place until I had the pleasure(sarcasm) of meeting the owner. All he talked about is how much money he has and that fact that he is a HARD CORE LIBERAL! He tried to lecture me and talk down to me for not believing in his views and being a conservative. It was so bad that his staff apologized to me for him.

Service is mediocre, dress code includes no hats for no reason even though its a dive bar; which has gotten quite dark I might add. I would avoid this bar at all cost go to parlay social great service and no childish dress code policy!

Great atmosphere for UK games. Even not a UK fan, I was welcomed in and made to feel at home. I plan to visit this town and most definitely this bar. Great staff and wonderful locals!!!
