Raw is by far the best sushi Ive ever had. Between the many sushi bars in many states, this bar has one of the best atmospheres, some of the best service, and definitely the best sushi Ive had. Definitely worth it, and one roll plus an app will fill you up quite nicely, and Im a pretty hard one to fill up. I had the Punk Rock roll as well as potstickers and both were great. Expansion of the dessert menu is advised, due to there being only one dessert. Id love to see a dessert roll come out of this place, if anyone could pull it off, itd be Raw. Update: 08/02/16 I stopped by again today. I had the calamari roll. It was as tasty as it was beautiful. They have introduced a new appetizer, called the "Jalapeño Business," and it is wonderful. It definitely puts other jalapeño-popper-style appetizers to shame. Its made with spicy tuna, cream cheese, then deep fried. The jalapeños are large and fully grown, which adds to the flavor. You can tell they are fresh, as are the rest of their ingredients. (Sorry for the two of them, I got a bit excited. It is two full jalapeños, and theyre cut into 8 of the individual pieces.)

Impeccable. The food here is amazing. Some food items are a little out their for some but the service is always great. The servers may mess up sometimes, but that is to be expected. No one is perfect, but at least if they do make a mistake, they apologize and do everything they can to make your dinning experience better for you. The sushi chefs have amazing conversations with those at the bar and the servers are very easy to talk to. All in all, this restaurant deserves all the praise it can get due to all of the hard work and dedication they have put in to the restaurant. And while most who come in are polite and kind, every now and then we get individuals who arent the nicest people in the world. However, we still accommodate and do everything we can to treat them like royalty.

Ive eaten here before and it was great. Tonight though, we had Scott as our waiter. He forgot to put in my 5 yr old sons order, and had to be riminded numerous times. Finally, we got fed up waiting and asked for the check. Scott then decided it was time to bring the rest of our order out. He said that our forgotten items would be free, but when he brought the check those items were still included. The only saving grace tonight was a waitress that I wish we would have had. She brought us things we needed and was wonderful. Scott needs to find a different line of work.

Sushi here are OK. If youre in LaGrange and you crave sushi and doesnt want to go out of town then this will be good enough. To me, sometimes the raw fish here doesnt taste as clean and fresh. The rice also doesnt taste as good. Its too dry and hard. The price is also a little higher than near by sushi places (Crestwood/LaGrange - Rikishi, Mikato). Overall I would rather go to Rikishi, its best place in town.

The staff are wonderful, and the lady who was the sushi chef was amazing! She made each roll and piece of sushi with care, and ensured we received only the best tasting options. She even offered up free mochi, which was amazing! I highly recommend this place for anyone who likes sushi, but doesnt mind an American influence added to it. Must try the eel!!! Best eel I have ever had in my life!

Love this place..amazing sushi most friendly staff and owners they know how to make it. Id venture to say its the best anywhere. Its as good or better than the highest rated in the area. The Louisville Roll is awesome..actually the rolls with fruit , I cant remember I think one was the Maui roll...anyway they are both to die for..you must go.

This is the best restaurant in LaGrange in my opinion. The food is delicious and the specials are always changing. I took my dad who had a negative view of sushi and he loved it. The only down fall are the servers who can be a bit slow. Had to wait about 10 minutes for a water. The food is worth the wait though.

The first time we went there we had the BEST service weve ever had at any restaurant. The host and server were amazingly polite and generous. The second time we went the service was just fine but hard to match the first experience. Both times the food has been amazing and delicious. Make it your next date night!

The staff was exceptional and always had smiles on their faces. My server was helpful and I didnt have to ask for anything. The sweet tea was excellent. The sushi was creative and unique. It was well made and delicious. The atmosphere was classy and clean, not typical of sushi restaurants.

Great fun atmosphere. Met the owner, the owners wife and their son works behind the bar. He came out to thank me for my business and sat with me for a min. It was my first time there and they all made me feel like I was a regular. Highly recommend Raw to anyone.

The atmosphere in this place is amazing! The staff are so incredibly friendly, and they remember their regulars, which is refreshing! And the best part is that they have vegetarian friendly menu items, whether lunch or dinner menu.

Good food, but they are always closed early and most importantly on holidays. They will not be in business long with that mindset. Damn shame too, one of our favorites but have to find an alternate and support them instead.

Great atmosphere and warm, welcoming staff. The food was delicious but a bit pricy - $30 on lunch for two sweet teas, a cooked sushi roll and vegetable udon. Would love to see some lunch specials or a Groupon deal.

I have been to many sushi bars throughout the world and this is definitely not the best sushi. The service is atrocious. Would not recommend this sushi bar to my worst enemy. Give one star just because I have to.

Very, very good. We were traveling through the area and planned on going to cracker barrel but saw the raw sushi bar and switched it up. So glad we did. Spicy salmon roll from the special menu was excellent.

Quick service. Free tempura ice cream on Tuesdays. Sushi was fresh and well presented. Cucumber salad lacked vinegar I was used to so not sure if traditional or not.
