We go here nearly once a week. The people are amazingly friendly, take very good care of you and its the best Mexican food Ive ever at ( and I lived in Texas for 3 yrs) . They have a house special for 2. Fajita meal that we stuff ourselves on and still take enough food home for 2 more meals! Its really the ultimate Mexican dining experience. And the best food, lots of it , with great surroundings and people. Good prices also. Cant say enough about it!

El Carreton is the go to place to eat when the family is hungry. The friendly atmosphere as well as the great food, has made it a place that we keep coming back to. From Tacos (my daughters favorite) to the Chimichanga (my favorite) it is a place that is worth coming to, if you make it to Winchester.

Ordered the taco salad real, was only about 3 very small pieces of chicken and 2 very small pieces of steak. After about 7 bites of the salad no meat left. Poor serves. I will not be going about.

When driving through Winchester, we always stop here. They have the best salsa around and can serve their chimichanga with grilled chicken. Much more flavorful than shreaded chicken.

I used to live in Texas and southern Arizona. This place was absolutly amazing! Great food! Ticket time was less than 20 mins and the food was on point! Their green sauce was awesome!

We eat here usually once a week, the service is great and their new building is awesome. Food is great. Beef is a little salty for my taste but the chicken and steak is very good.

One of the best nearby Mexican restruants for miles. The ones in Muncie and Richmond cannot compete with the amazing service and authenticity of the food. Very family friendly.
