We have always enjoyed Pizza Chef, but since they reopened under new ownership it has declined. We went last night and the experience was horrible. Our order was finally taken after being there for 30 minutes and that was after we went to the counter to order it. When we arrived, the server came by and said she would be right back to take our order. She didnt come back and instead took orders for 4 other tables that arrived after us. Then after waiting for 30+ minutes for our order, we were told they were out of some items (gave them to other tables instead). What we did get of our order was good, but the service (including the owners daughter) was very very slow and didnt appear to even want to wait on people.

Tonight was our first Pizza King experience so we decided to dine in at the newburgh location and we had great service and really hot and delicious strombolis. Marlin who works the front counter provided us with great service and made us feel right at home and really seemed like he was a guy who truely loved his job and what he did. You dont find too many people who are like this in the food industry any more. I highly recommend stopping in next time ur there and let him do they same for you and let him know where you heard this from. GREAT JOB MARLIN your a great asset to your company! !! We came in as a team after a tournament that was out of town! Our server was amazing but the comments that came from the manager and other staff was absolutely rude. We are a very easy going fun group that tipped our server very well and we were not demanding at all. If you want to keep business local you probably should not do people like that. Our other restaurant choices were chain resturants!! Next time thats where we will go!! They liked our business and money

Ive been going to pizza chef for years with my friends and family. Since its reopening, I was worried that the quality of food or service might not live up to what it used to be. Ive been back many times since the new ownership has taken place, and I have to say that the food is just as good, if not better! Also, the owner was kind enough to give me a 2 liter for free when i realized I did not have the cash for it on hand. Would recommend

Charlie (the original owner) is back and the pizza and everything else is great!!! Fridays they have a buffet with pizza, spaghetti, shrimp, fish, pies, salad bar, etc. Everyone is very friendly and there are 3 party rooms if you have a large group. (The vulgar post below has been reported to Google and should be removed soon).

Pizza Chef is the absolute GREATEST hidden treasure! No matter what you are craving their menu caters to your palette! Dont be afraid to make personal requests, the owner takes a genuine interest in his customers feedback! Excellent food, super personable staff and they even have a Pizza Chef baby!

This place has good pizza but the quality isnt the same as it was when the original owner had it. The employees are very good and the service is also. It is a good place to eat but the quality of the pizza needs to improve. Still better than dominos though

Excellent pizza. A must stop for pizza lovers. Other menu items, sandwiches, burgers and appetizers are offered. Friendly servers and moderately priced menu. Good family environment. Buffet offered at lunch and Thursday and Friday dinnertime.
