An excellent small brewery thats putting out great lagers, porters, IPAs, and DIPAs. Toad Storm seems to be the favorite here, though Im partial to the Festbier (think Oktoberfest, but brewed year-round). The beers are reasonably priced, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, never pretentious. Its a good place to talk about beer styles and try new beers. Theyve been open about a year now, and theyre frequently adding to their rotation. The recent additions to the food menu are welcomed. Ive tried the pretzel, bacon/cheese sandwich, and the steak sandwich--along with several pizzas--and each was excellent. They seem to take the same amount of care with the food as they do the beer. My wife and I like the vibe in the tap room. Theres typically some chill music playing in the background, and one TV for watching games, but the focus here is really on the beer. Its also interesting to meet new people while sitting at the large, long tables. Im looking forward to beers on the patio this summer, too.

Had a great first experience. I was there at 7:00 PM on a Saturday and the place was packed. They had about 10 different beers on tap. I tried about 4 and they were all top-notch. Great atmosphere and the staff was polite and knowledgeable.

Awesome place close to bike route-EL. Everyone working there is so nice. We sat outside and one of the guys just tapping our favorite brew - Helles Lager came by to tell us. Food never disappoints, kudos to their Chef.
