Impression: Cute little ice cream location that has the neat effect of giving you ice cream without cream. It makes the ice cream by putting ingredients together and then using liquid nitrogen to make it your frozen treat. Pros: Neat concept of making liquid nitrogen ice cream. Ice cream is good overall, I have enjoyed all my raspberry-based concoctions that have been made there. There are a TON of different flavors and additives to choose from, you will undoubtedly be able to make something that you will like. Cons: Sometimes there are long lines. Its neat to see them make your ice cream, but if the line is out the door or really long its not really worth it as the ice cream itself is not earth shattering. Conclusion: Nice little ice cream place for a unique frozen dessert. Great for: just getting something cold or if you are wanting something sweet

The actual product was wonderful. Its the experience that earned the two stars. Spent nearly 45 mins in a line that stretched outside. It was a sunday in july, so not too surprised there. But the employees made it an unpleasant experience. Total lack of coordination between the ice cream prep and cashier. Our ice cream was ready but they wouldnt hand it over until it was paid for. This also could be understandable, but the stuff was melting while they made us wait. After that, they then proceeded to tell my roommate he couldnt get a refill on the water he ordered. TL;DR version, ice cream was good, but the service was very poor.

This place was awful. Ive been to one in Florida and absolutely loved it. The service was great and I had a great experience and was so excited to show my family in Indianapolis. I was greatly disappointed when we walked into the subzero to find a dirty, messy place run by imbeciles. The people working were absolutely rude. They mumbled when they spoke and didnt even look at me when handing me my ice cream. The lady just set it on the counter, grabbed her keys, and walked away. Please save yourself the anger and dont go to this subzero.

I was so dissoppointed tonight. I love going there and eat their ice cream but tonight, it was just not very good. I saw 3 staff dodnt use their gloves. Im Deaf so I typed down what I wanted and the lady that works there put my phone in the bowl that is used to put all the ingredients! My phone is probably dirty (germs). Then I walked over to have them to get my ice cream and the guy works there was so slow that my ice cream started to melt. I was shocked by their services.

What a cool concept (no pun intended) and a really tasty product. We went late afternoon and had only a short line, however when we walked back the line was out the door! Super popular. Sub Zero has great options for every dietary need and it is definitely a treat to watch them make the ice cream; worth a visit for sure. Their specialty flavors make choosing easier, but they do offer a huge variety of flavors and mix-ins if you want to build your own ice cream.

Awesome concept! Great icecream! Poor service!!! 3 people working; 1 male & 2 females. No one wears a name tag so I cant praise the upbeat on (male), but the 2 females couldnt of been any more disinterested or irritated that they had to work on a Saturday. Both far more interested in their phones. My 3 yo daughter smiled and asked the 1 girl her name 3-4 times and she just stared at her, rang our bill up & said here you go...

The Ice Cream is to dream of! I come here a few times in the summer, the only that holds me back is the line! It is insane, BUT the people are working hard and get you out of there in an orderly Fashion. What keeps me coming back? The fact that this Ice cream makes you scream, since it is made in front of and its delicious? Only complaint? Too sweet. =) Atmosphere: B Food: A Customer Satisfaction: A Guarantee!

This place is rad!!!! We walked by and thought it might be just another decent ice cream shop, but several locals recommended it us so we tried it. AWESOME! They make the treat from scratch right in front of you with liquid nitrogen. How cool. And the ice cream is REALLY good to boot. Super creamy. Nom nom. Comes with the waffle bowl as well, which was light and crispy and sweet and tasty. WE WILL BE BACK!!!!

Freezing ice cream with Nitrogen on the door is a really neat idea, and its fun to watch. Its an added bonus that there are soy and vegan options for those who cant indulge in regular custard. It wasnt really worth the wait or the line, however... especially considering the price. During our entire visit there was a line out the door. It was fun to watch once, but I dont know that Ill return in the future.

The ice cream is the best! The nitrogen freezes the cream in front of you creating a neat fog of mystery while you watch your creation come to life, lol. The nitrogen freezes the cream so fast making the ice crystals very small. Small ice crystals makes the ice cream smoother than a freezer frozen ice cream. Worth the experience. Staff could be a little friendlier, but it wont stop us from visiting.

Mediocre ice cream and especially custard, annoyingly busy, and the staff is way, way, way past giving a @#$&. Yell NEXT when they could just look at us in line instead. Mumble to the counter the next order question, then get mad when you cannot hear them. If they get the order wrong, mad again because the customer is always wrong. Chat with other employees instead of working, etc etc.

The concept is great and its a blast to pick your flavors and watch your ice cream be made! Service was slightly short though, might have just been because they were busy but as a first time guest I didnt feel educated on what to do and felt rushed. Didnt mean to annoy you man, was just trying to get some ice cream! Luckily it was good enough ice cream Im sure Ill be back.

We went tonight and it was the worst experience. The people working were rude did not want to work or put in any effort. The one young girl even had the guy come over and said look you made this horrible and served it anyway. There was no flavoring he dropped most on the counter but just didnt care. Didnt even greet you just what did you have . Very disappointed.

Stood in line for about an hour and fifteen minutes and got a number 1... interesting concept but the idea is not fast for the long lines... because one waits elongated wait times, I had high expectations for the ice cream and it was simply “OKAY”. I did like the diverse menu options for those who are health conscious and would like customized ice cream ...

All time favorite ice cream place. You get to completely customize your ice cream from the base all the way to the mix-ins, so the creations are limitless. Then, the cool part.. they literally freeze your ice cream right in front of your eyes with Nitrogen. Its an overall awesome experience and the ice cream is fresh and so delicious.
