Located along the Monon Trail it is within walking distance no matter where in Broadripple you are. The ice cream is all sourced from a place on the east side of Indy and always tastes great. The service is good too, and you cant complain about the prices because it gets you sooooooooooooo much ice cream. They have 4 freezers full of ice cream and lots of different flavors to make anyone and everyone happy. During busy times they use a number system so that they can keep people moving, and ensure that everyone is helped quickly and in the order they came in. There are tables inside as well as outside that you can use to enjoy your ice cream. Or you can feel better about eating ice cream and eat it while walking along the Monon.

I have passed this place for years while either walking or biking the Monon and always thought that they only served regular ice cream. Glad to find out I was wrong! Today, I stopped in with my 13 year old and 3 month old for a special treat and to ignore my lactose intolerance. We were greeted by welcoming staff to free samples and 4 offerings that I could personally indulge in. I ended up with a Vegan Chocolate Mint waffle Cone and my 13 year old son with a regular chocolate mint waffle Cone. It was delicious, the décor was relaxing, and the staff went around offering water for everyone. My only regret is not coming here sooner. I will be back!

Today I waited in line for about 20minutes in the hot sun at Brics outdoor walk-up window. When it was my turn to order, the guy working window asked if I had a dog. I said no. He then tells me "this line is only for people with dogs, youll have to go inside and wait in line." I say, "seriously?" He replies with a sarcastic tone, "Yes, seriously". I checked the sign above the walk-up and nowhere is it stated that the walk-up window is for only for people with dogs. If it said it was a line for dog owners only, I would not have waited in that line. Terrible service. Maybe I shouldve lied about having a dog like the two people in front of did?

Choices, choices, choices! And all that I and my husband have ordered have been very flavorful. There are many options with regard to size, as well as cone type or cup. There are also many choices beyond just ice cream scoops, such as shakes and even banana splits. Any wait due to a rush of customers is worth it. The staff is friendly, and quite willing to warn folks about the size of their order. (We usually order the "bricklet" as even the single scoop is quite plentiful.)

As soon as I walked into the humble storefront, I knew I was welcomed with open arms!! Not only was the I cream made with love, the service was outstanding and impecable! However, I was most impressed with the outdoor decor. The pink painted sticks that are strategically placed on the edge of the outdoor eating area, bring a sense of nature and wisdom to our crazy world of materialism. I cherish this gift and hope to take it with me on my next ice cream journey!

This place next to the Monon Trail is great for a family outing or a casual date. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is friendly. I was surprised how nice a place it was on a cold winter day, with the fireplace going and a cup of coffee, so dont put off visiting just because its not summertime! There are also vegan ice cream flavors available for the dairy-free crowd, which is great. Ill definitely be back.

An amazing experience!! Got to eat some delicious VEGAN cookies n cream ice cream outside with my friends on a lovely day! What made my experience go off the charts was the amazing service! While eating outside my friends and I were offered iced water! Just what I love with my ice cream! This unasked for service made my ice cream 50 times more enjoyable. Great establishment and delicious ice cream!

This place is great! Love the view of the Monon. The ice cream is amazing. But the real gem is the service. The staff at BRICS is amazing. They are always in a great mood and very knowledgeable about the ice cream they serve. They are very friendly and they always have time to answer questions. My only issue is that its too far away from my house to walk, or else I would be in there everyday.

The only thing bad about this place is the danger it poses to ones waistline! Everything Ive had here has been amazingly good. Staff are always really friendly and efficient, even when the place is super crowded in the summer. Eco-friendly company and excellent homemade ice cream. Very generous portions for the cost - a 2 scoop is not for the faint of heart! Love this place :)

I have been there only once. It is amazing ! They have a lot of flavors and many options. I am not an ice-cream fan generally but I want to go back again. In my opinion price is great comparing to what you can get and comparing to other ice-cream stores prices as well. Moreover, you can enjoy the ice-cream while walking on the monon-trail with somebody or friends.

What a great place! First of all, I loved the history behind the building. Second, the service is fantastic. My husband and I ordered to go, but we decided to sit down and eat last minute. After about 10 minutes one of the workers brought us out cups of water. How kind! Third, I love that they had four types of vegan ice cream! Yay for dairy free options!

BRICS is one of the best ice cream places in Broad Ripple. High quality Ice Cream. Huge scoops and good flavors. Reasonable prices. Friendly Staff. Great location. Cool seating. BRICS does it right. In the winter, you can get smores with a little sterno can. Cute place. Fun sodas. Try their pie! Bring your dog if youre walking along the Monon trail.

Brics is absolutely amazing. The icecream is absolutely delicious and the pricing is amazing low for such a high quality icecream not too mention the quantity they give you. Seriously one scoop here is equivalent to three scoops anywhere else.. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone that enjoys great icecream and an awesome environment....

Right off of the Monon BRICS is a cute little sweet shop with about 30 different flavors of ice cream to choose from. There were also 2-3 pies as well as a couple of brownies available up front. From the delicious smells inside I believe they make their own waffle cones (dipped too) right there in house. Indoor and outdoor seating are available.

Definitely an above average ice cream shop. Theres a relatively wide selection of hand scoop ice cream and every one Ive tried so far had been very good. I cant speak to their other specialties because I cant help trying some new flavor. The location is great with indoor and outdoor seating right along the Monon.

They have a pretty big selection (maybe 20-30 flavors) with soy and vegan options. The prices were reasonable, and they have a large outdoor seating area. The staff were friendly too. My friend dropped part of her ice cream, and they saw and instantly offered to give her another scoop for free.
