Great experience. Spent the holiday in Indy, so we were simply walking around and deciding where to eat. I had never even heard of Primantis, let alone been there, so I didnt know what to expect. I dont know if the house was packed because of Thanksgiving or what, but it was very busy. Still, we were seated quickly and treated with respect. Our server was busy, but constantly checked on us without being annoying. Huge sandwiches. In fact, if I had a complaint, it was almost too much food! Haha. Overall, I would recommend this place to anybody. And, to top it off, the place is inexpensive. Two meals, an appetizer (which we learned that we could easily do without in future visits,) an iced tea and two large adult beverages cost $40.

Seeing the good reviews makes me think maybe the servers didnt like working on Saturday or something. I came in with a few friends for a special dinner outing here. We never even got to eat. The wait time was put at 30 minutes unless we waited at the bar. We chose the bar and requested menus. We never even were given a menu. Nobody asked us if they could help us...or even if we wanted a drink while we wait. Would love to have actually eaten but we decided to play it safe and take our party elsewhere.30 minute wait...and not even a menu was

food was really great but the female bartender was extremely rude. Jose took care of me because she wouldnt. I had to get there attention for everything. Im a general manager in a food service resturant so I know how it is. I will never return to this place. She needs to find a job thats not in customer service. I dont remember her name because she never told me but she wore all black with black lip stick. Maybe she is a Satanist im not sure lol

I mean honestly I do not know where to begin. The first time I saw it I was in love. It was so big I started to look around for a fork and knife, but then I looked down and remembered I was a man. I picked it up, cold slaw ran down my hand, as the scent of capicola went up my nose. After that, honestly it is a little fuzzy. I remember a wave of french fries, a blur of cheese, and I think I saw Osama Bin Laden get shot.

Stopped in for lunch & liked it so much came back for dinner! Service is friendly & food comes out fast. BLT Tots were great! Leslie was great to talk to & gave great suggestions from the menu. Nikki was able to help customize a pizza just for me. Lots of TVs to watch too. Definitely a place to have a great family night or adult only outing. This location has seating for both in separate areas.

We ate here Sunday and came back Tuesday with the kids for their Pizza fest ($20 for an 18" pizza, salad, and pitcher). The food was great and the service was amazing. A manager Joe stopped and talked to the kids and later sent free milkshakes to the table for the kids. I have been incredibly impressed with this restaurant and we will absolutely be going back.

If youre looking for bad service and bad food, this is the place! We went there last night, had two beers and two appetizers. Our waitress didnt have many tables, and it took at least 20 minutes for the drinks. We asked for extra sauce for chicken nachos and it took at least 30 minutes. We had finished by then. First and last time well go there.

HNNGG. Been there once. Heard of it, the legend of the Primanti. Denied it. Was a heretic. Aint no more. Next time Im in Indy, Im going to eat two. Pro tip: dont go for business dinners because if you have ANY SELF-RESPECT you will make a fool of yourself eating these delicious monstrosities of a sandwich.

Good experience in the restaurant, food was good and service was ok. The problem was our take home order. We ordered 2 pizzas and 2 sandwiches, and the only thing that was correct was 1 pizza! Guess we should have checked it before we left, but cmon guys, it wasnt that busy.

I went here the day before mothers day with my daughter and son. Our server Marcus was very friendly and helpful. This was our first time at this location but weve been to the one in Pittsburgh several times. Ill definitely be returning.

Every time Im here the food is great! Be sure to try one of their enormous sandwiches. If you like sitting at the bar this is a good place to be as the typical bar staff is friendly and fast.
