India sizzling 2. Before you read the review and decide whether you want to go there or not. There are some pre requisite questions which I would like to answer. 1. Are you from Tamil Nadu , Andhra or Kerala ? 2. Do you dream of Pongal , Aapam , Dosa ? 3. Do you know what good Jamun is ? If you answered yes for any the above three questions. Close you mobile/laptop. Head to this place and thank me later. I went there with a group of my South Indian friends for the Saturday night buffet and ended up not eating anything on Sunday. The food has a real cult South Indian flavor, so much so that I feel like I am enlightening the world telling about this place. The best South Indian food I have had in the US ( Sample set of around 20 states ). I usually take photos and post it in reviews but I did not want to waste anytime taking pics. Be sure to check it out. *buurp* :D P.S : I may have been bit biased due to my poor cooking skills and my love for Food !

Originally India Sizzling was a second choice because of Spice Nation closing. My first experience out to dinner with friends and family was almost ruined by an abrasive waiter but was saved by the new waiter that started covering our table. The vegetarian and vegan food was amazing. My friends and I have gone so often we are known by the staff there. Everything was great until our last visit when my vegetarian friend found a bone in his mouth. It then called food preparation into question. How many vegetarian dishes wer contaminated? Was meat accidentally ingested? That bone meant that was our last visit to that restaurant. If you are a meat eater they have great food and enjoy. However, vegetarians beware.

You must visit this place. The food is awesome and authentic and the service is extremely good. The customer service is of very high standard and they are very polite. This place has a very homely atmosphere. I had their dinner Buffett which had over 15 variety of vegan and non-veg items. I tried a little bit of everything and must say that there was not even one item that I could rate any less than 5 stars... In my opinion the food quality of India Sizzling II food is the best Indian food I had not only in Indianapolis but in the whole United States. I am a business traveller and I have eaten in may states in US & Europe. Keep up your great food recipe. Cheers Ash

I am extremely picky when it comes to food, especially Indian. My partner and I have made it a goal to try many Indian places in and around Indianapolis and hands down this place knocks the rest out of the park. The service is outstanding and the food is incredible--you can tell everything is made fresh and with care. We dont live close to the restaurant but make the trip just to come here to eat and it is well worth it. You would be doing yourself a huge diservice by not trying India Sizzling on Lafayette Rd.

Pretty decent. We were a bit late for the lunch buffet, but they accommodated us happily. The timings they mentioned in Google is correct (I found that it is not for many other well known Indian restaurants in the area). Food was good. Better south Indian items as compared to other restaurants. Service was friendly. I would suggest them to improve more on south Indian items, they will definitely get more customers. One more plus point is that it is very close to an Indian supermarket.

Amazing amazing food! I have been here twice and every time I have seen variety of food. The most famous stuff is THE BIRYANI - out of this world, slow cooked, with lot of flavors infused, and perfect. I love their Appams with coconut milk. Never found these in US before. They also have indo-chinise options. Service is great too. I highly recommend this restaurant and weekends/Fridays are the best days to get most varieties.

Went to try the a la carte but ended up trying the all you can eat buffet for 9.99. They have a nice variety of vegetarian, non vegetarian dishes as well as chats. They also serve unlimited dosas and soft drinks as part of the buffet. The waiter was very polite, friendly and informative. Great value for money. Also, its right next to Patel brothers if you want to get some grocery shopping done.

We stopped here on our way back after visiting Niagara falls. We randomly select this place to eat and it turned out right decision. I am non veg and my wife is vegetarian, we both found lot of options of our choices and it is not just options, the food was also very tasty. The service was good too. Ambiance was OK . I would definitely recommend people to go and try this place.

My personal favorite when it comes to Indianapolis... I come from Columbus, Ohio to meet my friend and there has never been a weekend I missed when Im in Indiana. Lot of options especially Aapam/Coconut milk is Exceptional. Owner is the chief chef too and he personally take care of the food preparation. Pongal, idly, dosa, Naan and the currys were alsmost home cook feel....

Horrible the waitor spilled a entire glass of water on my husband and still expected us to pay for our bill. They were completely not under standing about the situation and offered us nothing but a complementry desert. Like we wanted to stay there any longer with service like that. I will never go back there!!!

In the Lafayette Square mall area, lunch & dinner buffets are plenty. However India Sizzling II stands out - coz of their chefs! Amazing Biryani - mutton dishes are a delight! Best part is they have evening buffet! For anyone who is a food fanatic - I Definitely recommend it!

The best lunch buffet I ever had in Indiana that has authentic Indian taste. Variety of dishes to try. Breakfast items, chats, south & north Indian food and desserts. You also have a chance to go for wines at this place.
