Stayed at the JW Marriot June of 2017 and visited High Velocity 3 times eating twice. Each visit was excellent, good staff, good beer selection, excellent food, and a nice atmosphere. During each visit the place was busy and staff stepped up including managers to get things taken care of, thats always good to see. Ordered a Turkey Club, Cheeseburger, and Chicken fingers and every one of the meals were great...the burger was served on a pretzel roll, perfectly cooked with a large fresh patty...rivaled many other good burgers Ive had(we had ours with swiss, bacon and mushrooms). Fries were always delicious and served with a nice amount seasoning. Since we were there for a convention we decided to take beers to go as well and there was no issue with that they even had us just take the glasses. If your staying at the hotel a stop here should be on your schedule.

Average food and drinks. Nice looking place with plenty of tvs to watch sports. However, avoid this place at all costs. My wifes card was charged randomly more than 2 weeks after visiting there. We paid cash and never signed any receipt. They hold your debit card when you open a tab. There was a pending charge that was erased after a week or so. However, now over 2 weeks later we are getting charged for no reason. My wife has called numerous times over several days and there is never a manager who can be found. A manager has never bothered to return her call. If you ever have any issue with this establishment, good luck trying to get a manager to resolve your issue. Paid cash. Now a random charge on card and no customer service or attempt to contact us or resolve this. Beyond frustrated.

I had a good time drinking tonight at High Velocity unfortunately they had some trouble making an "Old Fashion" for some reason they think its ok to put flat soda water in it...hmmm probably not correct...i recommend taking a look at oldfashioned101.com and set your bartenders straight. The bartenders tonight were very nice and friendly, they even kept the bar very clean and sanitary but they dont know what they dont know...to me that shows a poor reflection of management and training. To charge a premium price for drinks you should be able to produce a historic and elegant drink such as an Old Fashion without a problem. Beer was cold and food was hot so not much complaint there but im not sure how they view themselves as a sports bar? Maybe its because they have TVs?

I stay at the JW Indy a lot when traveling on business and most days typically tend to close at 10 PM at later. A second tier city like Indianapolis has little to offer in terms of dinner choices at this hour and the High Velocity open till 1AM is a perfect choice. Wait staff is friendly and service excellent (consistent with other units within the JW Marriortt). Waitstaff has always been able to accommodate my needs (Im a vegetarian and avoid eggs) and have even suggested items off the menu. The only little negative is the place tends to get a bit too noisy given most staying at the JW or the connected hotels seem to stop by after hours and if were to finish before 10 PM then the Lobby bar on the other side would be a preferred option.

I had looked online while we were parking at white river and it showed there were plenty of reservations to be made within 15 minutes of us trying to park so I didnt make a reservation. We walked from the outside entrance and were informed by a tiny that we were to report to a desk at the other end of the restaurant. The girl who was behind the counter informed me that it was going to be at least 45 minutes they just had recieved a bunch of reservations. We passed at least a dozen and a half empty and cleaned tables. When we walked outside I pulled up the website again to see what reservations were listed-15 minutes still. Ridiculous and rude.

Crazy but I went here 2 nights in a row. Made my reservation in advance to watch Eagles vs Bears on MNF. Away on business and this place was recommended. EXCELLENT! Good atmosphere, great local draft beer selections and GREAT FOOD! Could be the best chicken tenders ever made, and the sweet chili mustard they made for dipping alone is worth the trip. Fresh cut fries too! If you are looking to watch a game and grab some great food this is the place. Check them out and ask for waiter George, he was on top of his game as well. Gotta go, I just might head back tonight..............

Pretty typical hotel sports bar. Very large, lots of activity, lots of TVs. Dont sit at the bar if you plan on watching a game though, the TVs are too high and they are hard to see. Its a hotel bar, so expect to pay a premium on drinks. The food is pretty tasty. I had some of their appetizers and the chicken wrap and they were all surprisingly good. Bar staff are all very nice and understand when you want them to talk to you and when you just want to be left alone.

Great hotel sports bar with plenty of TVs, although its a little bit out of the main part of downtown. The food Ive had here was great, and the portions are generous. Its a little pricier, but theyre definitely going for an upscale sports bar feel, so thats to be expected. It does get busy during sporting events or when the hotel is full, but its easy to get a table during lunch. I recommend it, and definitely recommend it if youre staying in the hotel.

A beer was only 4.5 but be careful of the martinis they were 11. Overall the pricing was good but i went though about 5 very weak martinis before finding out the price. The food was nothing to write home about. They used cut up lunch meat on my salad. I just found the experience to be inconsistent. I wouldnt say its bad but i also wouldnt recommend it. The best part is its location obviously. Just pay a bit more or walk somewhere better.

Cant comment on the environment - only had food and both times it was just meh. The lettuce wraps were not what I imagined and the flavors seemed to clash with one another. Ordered fish tacos another day and they were dry and unimpressive (not as described in terms of flavor). For a restaurant inside the JW Marriott, I would expect a higher quality.

Great service, excellent food, and a pleasant environment. I went with a group and got a Southwestern chicken sandwich with fries. I highly recommend it; this was one of the tastiest sandwiches Ive ever had. Word to the wise: one nacho plate will feed about four or five people. It is enormous.

Excellent table with free vitamin D on the street side. Had the exceptional scramble minus the onions plus tomatoes - and the breakfast potatoes - great choice. Potatoes dont have all those spices I dont like. The artichokes are canned or jarred and marinated, not raw, but still good. Yay.

Sat at the bar for dinner. Wasnt too busy on a Thursday night. Was able to have nice long conversations with the bartenders about sports stuff. A good time. Very courteous staff. The decor exudes "high end" but I found the prices reasonable and the atmosphere to be relaxed and comfortable.
