To be honest it was run of the mill at best. We got there at 5:00 PM today 5/14/15 as they opened for the evening. The meat balls were cold, the loaded potato soup was cold which my wife and a friend sent back sent to the kitchen to have microwaved to warm it up. The chicken was over salted. Peach cobbler was not that good and flavorful. There was nothing I ate that would make me want to drive from New Palestine Indiana to Hagerstown Indiana to eat. Anyone who rates this place as 3-4 or 5 Stars doesnt know good food when they taste it. Ill never go back on purpose under my own power. Maybe my kids will drag my ass over there when Im in a wheelchair and make me suffer through it one last time......but I hope Ive raised them to be more considerate than that.

The salad bar is good. However, the hot bar, soup, and dessert bars are awful. They over salt everything. My wife has a defective heart valve and high blood pressure and couldnt find anything that was not over salted to eat on either the hot bar or soup. I got a piece of prime rib. I swear the cow was still alive in the alley. It bleed all over my plate, and this comes from a man who likes his meat well done. The desert bar looked awesome, but was not good. We each tried a different pie, didnt like our choice, traded, and did not like the other persons choice either. Terribly over priced for a salad bar.

It was terrible!! When willie owned it it was a great place to eat. Under the new owners the food is bland, help is terrible and no where to be found. They make you wait very long times in between say your bread then salad then your actual meal. At least 15/20 minutes in between so you figure it out when the website says people spend almost two hours there! Please dont let willie and red have any of your money its not worth it go somewhere else.

This is a smorgasbord. It is the old Wellivers. It is a smorgasbord and after 3 PM you can order from a menu. All food seems to be homemade. They have private dining rooms for large parties. Example for Mothers day you will need reservations. Reservations are recommended. They also have a bar separate from restaurant. Worth thr drive. Only draw back, is parking. There is no lot, only street parking. May have to drop off and walk a block or two.

if i didnt have to drive an hour+ i would probably go once every other week or so. food was pretty good and the wait staff were on top of it for us. we were a party of 9, 3 of which were under 5 and they accommodated us easily. we were there around 1230 on a Sunday so it was fairly busy. the buffet was stocked very well.

It was just ok. The atmosphere and servers were wonderful but the food was just not great. It is almost all side dishes. The meat selection was lacking but the salad bar and desserts were much more varied. If you want something similar but a lot better go to Robs in Englewood.
