It was EXCELLENT! Tony, I think they must have really changed because that couldnt be further from the truth today. The carnitas was great and the rice was the best mexican rice I have had other than my late grandmother-in-laws and my own because she taught me. She was the first of her family to come from Mexico to America. Anyway, I know my Mexican food pretty well.

A group of six of us tried El Potro a few weeks ago. My only complaint would be the salsa is runny and bland. More like tomato soup than salsa. But everything else made up for it. The guacamole was excellent, the service was great, and the margaritas were strong. And everyone enjoyed their entrees. We will definitely eat there again.

I had the fajita chicken lunch! Everything was delicious! Chips, salsa, rice beans, fajita with chicken, peppers, onions, and three wraps with lettuce, sour cream and tomato relish! Yummm..... Fantastic Strawberry Margarita! I will definitely return to this Mexican Restaurant!

Dining here was beyond amazing! The service was perfect and our dinner was10x faster than "fast food" places... Also to top it all off not only were the prices incredibly low but right when you walk in it smells clean... Perfect place in my book!!!

Service was on the ball without being a bother. The steak chimichonga was wonderful the steak was tender the rice and beans were good also. The margaritas were delicious and the prices were nice. I would recommend this restaurant and will go back.

Wait staff is friendly and attentive. Food is very good, plentiful, inexpensive and satisfying. Not the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to but definitely leans very hard to authentic Mexican. No tex mex here. Worth a stop.
